I paid Malissa Sams to represent me. It was more of a deposit of $500 the initial fee was $1500. I hired her to get back child support and I handed her all the proof she needed to make this case easy for her. She took that information and handed that information to the other party!!! Then after she admitted to screwing up she left me in the dark. Never to have contacted me again and kept my $500 dollars. She violated patient confidentiality. Never again will I call that woman for anything. She does not know her laws as I had to tell her that what she did was wrong and all she could say ways ok. I’m not sure if it’s because her and Kyle are friends but either way she is not to be trusted and clearly does not know how to be a lawyer. I went with her because she was cheaper but you see where that got me. I still had to hire another attorney and that was the best decision I’ve ever made. My other attorney felt bad for what Malissa did and gave me a great deal and also paid my mediation fees. Roberta Robinson is the best! She is by far the best and she will fight for you and treat you like a person not just a pay check. She also knows the law very well.

When I sat down after paying my consultant she told me I need to hurry because she only had 10 minutes and I had to explain my problems in 10 minutes then after she never made eye contact and gave me the paperwork’s to complete. Because never had I have a lawyer that makes me do all of the work that she was PAID FOR...I wouldn't even recommend this firm on my worst enemy. Which resulted in making me look worse on my end and actually sending me to jail when I was just trusting my lawyer. Every single advice she gave me had me in jail or the police started to want to know why I want this information thinking I was going to do something to you! And If I was locked up she NEVER reached out to my family Also, I'm constantly begging her to do my case. & instead of helping, she's sooo very money hungry. And after speaking with other lawyers, I was told that she was actually was the worst family lawyer around that I that I could’ve hired.she charged me for every phone call she made me and every text she sent to me! I believe she works with Troup Co. instead of working for the client. She would be best buddies with the opposites sides lawyer like best buddies. Telling me unprofessional things going on. She had me hire a another lawyer then 3 months later he overdosed on DRUGS. Then for her to tell me ohhhhh not that lawyer I was talking about a different lawyer.
