I knew with Doug Wilder that he was the attorney I wanted for my son when my son called asking for my help or advice. I had used Doug previously myself when I was younger and knew he wouldn’t stop fighting for the best possible outcome imaginable for my son’s case. Initially, my son was facing 2 charges of felony theft of firearms. This was going to take some time and work as the DA and Plaintiff weren’t wanting to budge. Doug worked fiercely and tirelessly on this case for nearly 2 yrs. The end result was, one charge was dismissed totally (as we thought it should be), the other was reduced from a felony to a Class B Misdemeanor. He received 1 year deferred adjudication probation, 80 hrs Community Service work and court costs. It could’ve been so much worse without Doug on this case!!!
