Thanks Tom for all your hard work and for being a great honest attorney I am happy to be your client and would recommend you to whomever need a great professional attorney
I called up to ask questions and he provided general discussion without asking for as much as my name. Thomas is a professional, compassionate, understanding person who practices law for the benefit of helping others. He he has a great personality too. I would certainly use this attorney if the need arose. Fortunately, he helped me to understand that filing with the court for this particular item was not required. Thanks Thomas!
Tom handled my original child custody case with my ex over 11 years ago and then again 4 years ago when my ex wanted to move out of state with our children. He cares about his clients and works hard to represent them in a professional manner. My 2 cases were stressful and he was with me every step of the way encouraging me and supporting me. He even took my phone calls after hours and on weekends. Tom is extremely knowledgeable about family law and he is well respected by his peers and judges.
I met Tom during the worst week of my life. He has his own style and he takes control of whatever situation you’re in that leads you his way. I really needed a lawyer who could get me divorced and Tom did the job. There were some bumps along the way but in hindsight Tom probably made those few moves on purpose to make sure I could get out of a really bad marriage. We were dealing with some really strange women, my ex and her lawyer, and it could have gone much worse. Thank you Tom, I think of you often, and appreciate your work on my behalf!
Tom was late on everything. He would say he would do something next week and I would call two weeks later and it would never ever be done. This occurred at least 15 times over the 10 months it took him to do a simple child modification. When he finally got all the paperwork on February 2, I called him on February 4 and he said he had filled them with the court. On March 16 I called him and asked when will the papers come back from the court. He said he had not received the papers. I told him they were delivered February 2 and that I called him and he confirm that he had submitted them to the court. He said he just don’t did not remember the call nor receiving the paperwork. I had the UPS tracking number as proof of delivery date. There’s something very wrong here. He did not call me back so I then called him again and he said “oh I found them and I’ll submit them” but that’s six weeks late and cost me money. That’s just an example of how the whole 10 months went Most of the time when he said he would do something I would ask him when will it be done and then a few weeks after it was due I’d call him back to follow up (because he never did do what he said he would do) and he had the same excuse —oh I just didn’t remember it. I don’t know how someone like this can stay in business or how the Georgia Bar allows this kind of activities. I’m considering what I should do next so others don’t go through this because it’s wrong and legal issues like this can be so upsetting to our children and our extended families.
