Interesting architectural elements with an eye on history of site. Long gravel trail abuts marshes and river. 4 stars without the highway’s heavy sound pollution filling the air. A 3 star park but a 5 star highway rest stop.

Never seen animals not even birds fly, some hikers don't say hello while walking the opposite direction in a narrow path ( weird) I'm old school

Good location to relax and exercise in nature. Great spot.

Nice area wood needs to be treated even though it’s mahogany

I've driven by many times. I've never pulled in to walk around. It was nice. I didn't know the history of that location was previously an airport. Plan to return with better shoes and snacks for some birdwatching!
