Tilley Law Office

I was charged $2000 with the sole purpose of obtaining a Temp Custody order. Until mom was able to feed and house my niece and nephew properly. Supposedly served mom 3 times. Citing no answer and can't find her. One phone call I had the address. Even offered to have a friend serve her. Literally was told we aren't wasting time trying to serve her. Fast fwd and CPS is involved. I call his office and am told "conflict of interest". Seriously, I'd like at least half my money back, kids wouldn't have been part of the system had he given an ounce of concern for their welfare. 2 stars for at least an attempt at making me feel as though you actually gave a rats behind. BRAVO FOR SUCKERING ME!! Not yelling I'm emphasizing!!

His responsiveness has been abysmal at best, as he rarely acknowledges or replies to emails or phone calls. This lack of communication has led to numerous delays and misunderstandings, exacerbating the already difficult and emotional nature of a child custody case. One of the most alarming issues encountered was Mr. Tilley's failure to properly serve me as the other party involved in the proceedings. This glaring oversight raises serious concerns about his attention to detail and commitment to following the necessary legal protocols. Such negligence reflects poorly on his professionalism and dedication to his clients' interests. Moreover, it is disheartening to note that Mr. Tilley appears to do the bare minimum in representing his clients through the Department of Health and Welfare. The level of effort exerted in the case was far from satisfactory, leaving me and my attorney feeling marginalized and disregarded. It is regrettable that Mr. Tilley did not exhibit the level of advocacy and commitment that one would expect from a lawyer in a highly sensitive matter such as child custody. Equally troubling is Mr. Tilley's apparent failure to adhere to the ethical standards expected of legal professionals. His lack of responsiveness and attention to detail not only hindered the progress of the case but also left me with a sense of unease and doubt about his integrity. The foundation of the legal profession lies in trust and reliability, qualities that Mr. Tilley seems to lack. In conclusion, my experience with Robert P. Tilley, Esq. and the Tilley Law Office has been profoundly disappointing. The communication challenges, inadequate service, failure to serve me properly, and apparent disregard for ethical standards have made an already difficult situation even more distressing. I implore those seeking legal representation to consider these concerns seriously before entrusting their case to Mr. Tilley or his firm. Legal matters require the utmost professionalism, dedication, and competence. Regrettably, my encounter with Mr. Tilley did not reflect these qualities, leaving me with a deep sense of dissatisfaction and a diminished faith in the legal system.

Left a message 5 days ago, still awaiting a call back..... Also, how can someone submit an affidavit about income signed by someone else NOT representing them, and it be taken into record. Still trying to figure that one out. Neither party neither saw nor signed those documents..... ????

Took advantage of time and money, took advantage of us because we have known the family for years.. What should have been a very quick easy divorce turned into a huge battle. Spent most if the day discussing with him what needed to be in decree. It all accommodated my ex husband.. Made things worse nit better. It was sad because we think very highly of his parents..
