So far we have paid him $4000 .. he has threatened to quit 3 times... He could not remember any details of my case. He constantly wants to talk about everything else except my case,and then charge me for speaking with him. I had to do all the leg work. When it cam e time for a hearing in my child custody case, Im pretty sure he was sleeping through the whole thing. I got beat up by a better lawyer, over things that were so inconsequential. When it was his turn to cross examine.. he had plenty of the things to question, but forgot about those... He asked two questions, and let it rest.. when I asked him him about it he said well I made objections... This is the worst representation from a lawyer that I have ever had... Don't waste your money!!!

Several years ago Mr. Cain represented my husband in an auto accident case. To make a long story short, we won. In fact the other party settled out of court so there was minimal time we had to spend on legal matters and more time for my husband to recover. Now, several years later, both my parents needed a Durable Power of Attorney drawn up and my mother was also in need of a will. The first person I thought of was Mr. Cain. He was able to draw up the needed documents for them at a very fair price to my parents. I've since then had to invoke the POA for my father and have had no trouble at all with it because of the meticulous way it was worded and executed. I would highly recommend Mr. Cain for anyone in need of a top rate, professional lawyer!

I spoke with Mr. Cain on 8/3 regarding modifying an existing court order. I was in his office for approximately 1 hour, with at least 20 minutes of that time being spent with him telling me personal stories (his previous marriage counseling experiences, previous cases). During this time Mr. Cain made the comment, "you're not paying for this by the way". At the end of our meeting I decided to leave a check for $1800.00 which cleared my bank the same day. Mr. Cain explained that it would be over a week before anything would be done. Over the weekend I decided not to proceed with modifying the order. At 9AM the morning of 8/6 I called the office and spoke with Sabrina and explained that I no longer wanted to proceed. She told me she would speak to Mr. Cain and call me by the morning of 8/7. On 8/8 I sent an email since I had not heard back. I received a response apologizing and promising a follow up by the next day. On 8/10 I sent an additional email telling me I should hear back by 8/13. Well I just received a call from Ashley telling me that Mr. Cain is deducting $400 for a 2 hour consultation. Excuse me?! This is extremely unethical and highly unprofessional. I will definitely tell anyone I referred to him to seek counsel elsewhere and when I am ready to proceed I will not be returning to this office. How dare he take advantage of someone and bill for services he did not render!

I guess you get what you pay for....Communication was not good, Mr. Cain would often forget details of the case & kind of make up some details, but most importantly I was left high and dry after my case without any preparation for the outcome (that was mandated by the deals' parameters). I was guaranteed one outcome and over time it disintegrated into the opposite. If you are looking for a bargain lawyer, he may be OK at best. If you are looking for quality representation with your interest being looked out for, look elsewhere. I would give a negative if I could.

My family and myself have used Tom Cain for all of our legal matters for over 10 years. He has helped us with everything from family matters to executing wills and any other legal dispute. He has always handled everything proficiency and efficiently and I wouldn't trust anyone else! I have always and will continue to recommend him to all my friends and family.
