Don’t bother wasting your time with this firm too busy chasing their 7-8 figure settlements to return a call or an email. The only person operating at a high level of professionalism is Joe at the front answering phones- he’s great. As for Evan Torgan, typical lawyer- spoke to me for an hour when of course he thought I might possibly have a wrongful death lawsuit. Then went radio silent for months, never heard from him again. The professional thing to do is return a phone call or send a one line email saying “sorry but this is not something we would take” instead of telling me that he’s going to take a good look at the medical records & autopsy report after his trial. And to think I didn’t contact any other firms because I was advised it’s unethical and also Evan is really good at making you think he cares. He wasn’t even professional enough to return my very cordial emails and only a handful of phones calls to follow up. I think many of these lawyers forgot why they got into their field of law in the first place. Or maybe they could care less abt people like me, probably the latter. I wish him well on his 8 figure trial in January. At least Tony Gair & Daniel Brook at Gair, Gair & Conason called me back, spoke at great lengths and were very helpful in explaining many things to me. Hopefully, this review finds someone and prevents them from wasting months like I did. I now get it- he’s too big time but would’ve liked to know from the jump instead of him disappearing forever.
