Touro Law Center

I am so proud of all the students I have met and coached at Touro Law. Love the faculty, staff and administration. I have been honored to be part of the TAPS trial team. Proud to serve on the Board of Governors, and a proud parent of two lawyers who are alumni. Much love to Touro - JGD.
Terrible! The law school is not respected anywhere on LI or NYC.
As an alumni of this school I can honestly say it was one the best experiences I had. All experiences come with ups and downs, but at the end this school, along with its professors made my experience one that has helped me grow into a great student and soon to be attorney. The professors are some of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met and want to see you succeed. The school itself offered me countless opportunities which, based on my experience at other law schools I have not seen.
My mother is a senior, was working with denise Dottie, he, supposedly an attorney, supposedly experienced in home owners matters, then my mother gets a letter, that counselor Dottie can't take the case.why , perhaps laziness and inexperience. I do not think her credentials meet mine, a practicing physician for 20 years, with never a malpractice issue , attended Cornell university as well as a bachelor's in biology, masters and trained at university of stonybrook.. Dr.bari sklar
As a current 2L I could not be happier with my decision to go to Touro Law Center. The administration pushes heavily for students to work together and help each other. This helps creates one of the most friendly environments of any law school in the nation and allows for students to feel comfortable in what they are doing. The comfortably allows for students to excel and to be confident in their abilities. After just one semester, I volunteered to represent Touro in the National Baseball Arbitration Competition. This was an opportunity I would not of had at most law schools and it certainly opened my eyes up to how enjoyable a life in the law could be. Without the confidence in my abilities that I gained throughout that first semester I most likely would not have even thought of volunteering. If you have a plan to work in Suffolk County, there is no school with stronger ties to Suffolk County agencies than Touro. For instance, this past summer I interned in the Suffolk County Attorneys Office and gained valuable experience in both the torts and general litigation sectors. I assisted the attorneys in a variety of ways such as: writing memorandums of law that would later be submitted to the court and conducting legal research on a variety of topics such as police brutality to disability discrimination. I frequently attended the Federal Courthouse with the attorneys to gain valuable in-court experience. Without Touro's strong ties with the local agencies, it would have been much more difficult for me to gain the experience that I did.
