Touro Law Center

I had a great experience going to touro law Center. Very big and great people go to this school to learn law. I would definitely recommend if you want to learn various things about law. Also to become a great lawyer.

Overpriced for being an unranked school. Lackluster internship and career opportunities. The alumni office does nothing to maintain relationships following graduation. Recommend looking elsewhere for law school.

This review is based on the actual pro Bono work requested of Touro for my impoverished sister who needed to be integrated into Medicaid and all related are many states away. Basically this involved processing the Medicaid application which they struggled to do. Ultimately, a paid attorney had to gather the signatures for Touro. Their knowledge of the welfare system was shockingly low in retrospect and there was a general apathy to the tasks they engaged. I regret engaging them as the cost of delays and lack of attentiveness to details exceeded any legal cost savings. Apathy, lack of curiosity, you’re made to feel socially indebted as their service is “free” throughout the process. It’s a rather stereotypical characterization of “public defenders”. This is just one experience and isn’t designed to negate other positives that others may list. I wish all the best but my review is objectively honest to my experience. Unless you have no better service options I’d look elsewhere.

Terrible! The law school is not respected anywhere on LI or NYC.

My mother is a senior, was working with denise Dottie, he, supposedly an attorney, supposedly experienced in home owners matters, then my mother gets a letter, that counselor Dottie can't take the case.why , perhaps laziness and inexperience. I do not think her credentials meet mine, a practicing physician for 20 years, with never a malpractice issue , attended Cornell university as well as a bachelor's in biology, masters and trained at university of stonybrook..
