Please don't even think to hire this law firm. They will not represent you in a responsible way and when you try to reach them on the phone or via email, GOOD LUCK. They will not respond to you. I have hired them to appeal a DMV suspension. They charged $450. But appeal was denied because either they didn't pay for the transcript or didn't send the transcript. I'm trying to get a response for past 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back from them.

It is only because of Larry Economos I give this office stars. It was his advice about hiring a psychologist to evaluate my son and then have her testify that got me full custody of my son. The office however is very unhelpful. The price quoted to me about the estimates of my case were not what I ended up being charged. They charged me almost three times as much as the highest level of what they quoted me. During my case I could never get an answer to my questions if I had a balance. Once that balance was paid office staff were suddenly responsive. I was told towards the end of my case that my last bill was to be my last bill and then a few weeks later I received another bill. Now I am requesting my copies of paperwork from my case to be emailed to me and they state they do not have any. Larry has left the practice and took all the files with him. I do not expect how they can think I believe this. You didn't keep any records? That would be horrible business practice. Then they stated they do have my divorce papers because they did not handle my divorce. That is what I hired them for though. To handle my divorce and child custody. So, I spent three times as much quoted and they didn't even do the job I hired them for? Don't take your business here. All they care about is money and will charge a lot more than anyone else.

I would highly recommend Triangle Divorce Lawyers! Mrs. Gurganus and her team are definitely outstanding. For more than two years, they have helped me navigate through an extremely difficult litigation case. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for their support and hard work on my case.

Mr. Larry, L.J., & the other professionals on the team were extremely helpful, supportive, and understanding regarding my situation. Not only were they willing to assist with a case a bit out of town in a rather short notice, they made sure that all of my questions and concerns had been addressed before moving forward. And I must add that Larry was very professional and thorough, helping me circumnavigate one of the most difficult times of my life...nothing less than what i was hoping for from from a top notch attorney! Please whatever you do avoid this firm! If you are introduced to Larry run away as fast as you can. You will regret every dollar you spend here and I promise you will overspend many! The "great" reviews on here are from employees of the firm. That should say it all. Divorce is hard enough, Larry Economos makes it pure hell. I've never written a review in my life but I feel compelled to warn every person I can to avoid this place! I have met Mary the owner outside the business and she is a wonderful person, it is a shame Larry Economos ruins her name! There are many good firms in Raleigh avoid this one!!!
