As so many other reviews also state I paid 2110 for a bankruptcy. I was told that they did nt have a lawyer in my area that could assisst with my bankruptcy and that they are only returning $338 of my money. I feel that this law firm is a rip off. I am seriously mentally ill and feel that I have been taken advantage of by this lawfirm. I called several times asking about an attorney calling me back and it took a month for them to tell me they ad no attorney for my area. well why did they take my money to start with only to keep it. I would give no stars if possible this is ridiculous and will be reported to the bar association.

This firm is a fake I looked in to there help to file a bankruptcy in year 2018-2019. After going to different offices I learned that my debt was not as bad to file a bankruptcy. I contacted this office to cancel my account and I was told I was being refunded half of my money which was $475.00 out of $950 I already had paid them. The refund SUPPOSEDLY was issued in 45 days. Today is February 14, 2023. 4-5 years has passed since I canceled and still today I have not received my refund. They are really good at stealing people hard working money. The website doesn’t let you give reviews without giving stars so obligated to to select the 1 star but in reality is 0 stars

I would not give your money to these people. They are crooks. I paid them half the money and then I got in a little financial bind. I. The meantime they closed my case and said then couldn’t reopen it. Then when I asked about the 750 I put down they sent me and email with like 40 different charges claiming I was already over what I had put down. Claiming income entry, asset entry yet the funny part is I hadn’t even given them any information outside of my name and address. I talk to one person online and exchanged about 10 messages and one attorney called me for 5 minutes to basically introduce himself and tell me what documents he needed first which I never even sent. Lesson learned I guess. Use local attorneys they aren’t anymore expensive.

These people are crooks!!! Do NOT send them ANY money!!!!!! I am filing complaints against them. I paid them over $2500.00 for my bankruptcy and there were personal reasons that I could not go through with it in the end. I asked for a partial refund and after being jerked around for months, I was promised $963.00. That dropped to $335.00 due to an accounting mistake. Then the $335.00 got dropped to $88.00.!!!! That is what I was finally sent. Due to an "unforseen software issue!!" What a bunch of liars and thieves. Everyone has to atone for the things they've done in life. Everyone who works at or for these manipulative thieves will pay, one day. Stay away from these people at all costs!!!

I have paid Upright Law $1990 to find bankruptcy for us. I was guided through the app to see how everything was progressing. This all was on 6/25/22. To this very day I've had two lawyers assigned to our case, no petition filed, an email from a lawyer Joseph Seifert saying I didn't upload my paperwork in order. I've since reloaded, sent multiple emails and still have no response. Im very dissatisfied about the service I've received or lack of. I've requested my money back and as usual no response. All I want is my bankruptcy filed.....a service of which was paid in full almost 90 days ago!!!!
