Attorney' Sam Veenstra who had previously been cited by the Texas State Bar without my knowledge of this previous reprimand. My dealings with him showed he is an "evil" "lying", "cheating" thiving Attorney who conspired to engage in theft by "trick" and "lying" in association with Attorney's John K. and Joe I. Zaid of the Law firm John Zaid using a calculated campaign of “deceit" to steal and cheat me out of $ 70,000.00 Insurance Proceeds of a near death MVA while he knowingly including the Zaid brotothers were in violated of the "Texas Penal" Code - § 38.12 (2), especially since I was in ICU for my diminished mental capacity due to excessive opiod medication that kept me in a haluciating state for 26 days. Sam and Joe I Zaid also violated Rule 1.02 (2) of the Texas Rules of Professional Conduct. And several others. The,Texas.Penal Code - § 38.12 (2), clearly states: A person commits an "offense" if, with intent to "obtain an economic" benefit, the person: (2)?"solicits" employment, either in person or by telephone", did not require or request legal assitance because I lacked the mental capacity" to sign and my family, or my POA had requested an Attorney to handle this over $ 800 000.00 no fault MVA. By their violation of Texas Penal" Code - § 38.12 (2) and knowledge of Attorney's Sam. John K. and Joe I. Zaid illegaly enriched each of themselfs in the amount of $ 22,222.22. and These three crooked Attorneys also cheated me out of recovering by refusing to recover the court ordered $ 13,000.00 judgement from the guilty driver in the MVA. Scamming Attorney also cost me in an HOA settlement an additional $ 9,000, which after I settled based on a amount that included all charges and only presented and deducted the $ 9,000 stating he had forgotten to bill these expenses prior to mediation He also violated Rule 1.02 (2) of the Texas BAR Rules of Conduct. FACTOID I was in a major T boned MVA, resulting in me being in the ICU for 26 days for a broken collar bone 4 broken ribs a punctured lung and head injuries.including severe halucinations resulting in, very limited mental capabilities during the time Attorney Sam Veenstra and Joe I. Zaid "covertly sneaking " by the nurses and doctors station" into my ICU room to illegally "solicit" employment, which I only remember asking Sam for Cookies and they knew by my inattention and sluring of words I was not competent to make "any decisions" Then using a pre-prepard retainer form pre signed by Attorney John K. Zaid which shows a blured signature in order to enrich themselfs from my $ 800,000.00 + plus MVA and continued medical co-pay expenses My automobile was destroyed so bad that Seabrook FD had to use the "Jaws" of life to extract me from my Automobile. The MVA was a slam dunk undisputed MVA case, which was resolved in 10 days by the insurance companies who sent the one of the checks to my home without knowledge of these attorney's These disgusting Attorney's enriched themselves with my moniesI which are still needed for my medical welfare. All 3 attorneys, in my opinion, are all guilty! of collusion, breach of trust, theft by trick / deceit of my insurance funds. Attorneys should be "disbarred" for life. BEWARE AVOID THESE CROOKED ATTORNEY'S AT ALL COSTS."

I found Veenstra law firm through a google search, the law firm was located close to my home. I spoke to Sam approximately 7 months prior to using his law firm, but he still remembered our conversation, Once I made the decision to sign the contract and agreed to the cost for his services, I prepared myself for a long drawn out costly back and forth in this divorce.(which never happened, just simply signed paperwork using Email and DocuSign), I am seeing two other friends going through the same situation, using different law firms, and at a cost that totally shocked me, (3-4-X) the cost. With Veenstra law firm the cost was within my affordability, and the time between signing the contract and the day of the final divorce decree was made official. Was in the same year that I made the initial call to the law firm. I’m not sure why someone would want to pay 3-4 times the cost for the same results Regardless, I’m glad that my divorce was settled in less than 4 months. Thank you Sam.

Last year, my wife filed for divorce and hired an attorney. I was scared, nervous, and had no idea what to do. I reached out to Sam and he immediately put my mind at ease. He explained each step with detail and walked me through the entire divorce process. He is a very empathetic and knowledgeable attorney. Thank you Sam for all your help getting me through it.

Sam did an excellent job representing my family after Hurricane Harvey. He was honest, prompt, fair, and reasonable with every aspect of our case. I appreciated his common sense approach to things that had a way of working through our emotions to get to the facts at hand. The individual attention we received throughout the process was pleasantly surprising. I highly recommend Sam for your legal needs.

Mr. Veenstra handled a serious and delicate matter related to my divorce decree. He was professional, kind and extremely respectful at every turn. It was nice to have someone who listened and addressed all my concerns. No concern was too small or ever dismissed. I am completely satisfied with the services he provided. I highly recommend Mr. Veenstra’s office.
