Customer service is the worst, took them over 30 days to completely install my system had over ten no show appointments called to cancel all together was told they would send someone and make it right. because of ALL the trouble I had they would give me one of the cameras at a discount. tech shows up but knows nothing of this discount and tell me to go ahead and pay for the camera and call the company and they would refund the cost well that was March 5th 2021 and I still don't have my refund. they show a credit on my account but charge my credit card every month for the service. I call and they tell me they mail a check out but it never arrived I called back several times and they told me they would credit my credit card and again nothing. you can't speak to anyone other than there customer service people and you never speak to the same one.
I would put zero stars if I could. A Vivint salesman just stopped by my house last night (even though we have a very clear “No Soliciting” sign) and gave his sales pitch. Despite the fact that I was holding a crying baby, and pointed out the “No Soliciting” sign to him, and told him we weren’t interested 3 times, he wouldn’t leave. Super rude, super inconsiderate, definitely convinced me to not do business with Vivint.
What a snake of a company. They don't deserve one star. After having equipment paid and having never missed a service payment we had to cancel our Vivint service due to extenuating circumstances. Vivint would not budge on forcing us to make our cancellation fee of over $500 when my family is under extenuating circumstances. They even have a team that deals with these issues and they refused to transfer me to that team to hear our situation out. Even under a pandemic they have no understanding because they choose not to listen. Avoid!!!! And will not be using them in the future. Also they will give the support number to call but support again never transferred me where I needed to be. Not helpful.
I don't know about this particular location but Vivant is the worst security system I have ever had. I have written another review already about the company in general. Since then I have had to call and tell them how terrified my 2 children are because the alarm keeps going off for no reason. They think "Bad people" are breaking in trying to get them. They are seriously afraid for thier lives. This particular time I called to try and get a tech out here to fix MANY issues with thier system I was hung up on and transferred 3 times. I was able to get a tech scheduled to come out this week. Hopefully they can fix all the issues with their system and equipment or lets just say we are moving forward. Unfortunately most people you speak with are nice enough but the company is TERRIBLE. The call center's are trained to be nice. Vivant is outsourcing a 3rd party call center in the Philippines. Im sure they have others. But no corporate office or HR department. I think that is BS. They just don't want thier customers to know that info. By reading other reviews, Im pretty sure thier HR department would be overloaded. Lime I've already said, if they can't make this right we will be taking action and moving forward. The process is only waiting to see what happens. I cant believe I was conned into switching my already amaizing security company for Vivant. With my last company if I had ANY issue I could have a tech here within the same day.
It’s a great product and the technician and sales rep were very knowledgeable and friendly
