Individual Customers beware of making on-line or over the phone order. On 9/16/24 ordered a replacement flashlight bulb. Was advised that my item would be availble at the local store on 9/18/24 after 1pm. On the 18th at 3:00 I was in shock that the delievery package was empty. The store employee told me that he would see if it could be shipped at no cost to my residence. The employee told me he would call me and let me know if this could be done. NEVER HEARD BACK from this employee. Call the 1-800 number. Spent over 30 minutes on the phone. This employee told that my inital order would be canceled and she would place another order and ship it free of charge. This employee took my address place me on hold and I NEVER HEARD BACK from this employee. I called corporate a 2nd time. The employee advised that since my initial order was canceled there was no charge to my credit card and there was no second order on file. This was an item that cost under $4.00 In my opinon Grainger should have shipped me the item at no charge and absorbed the shipping cost for all my inconveience,
If I could put 0 star, I will do it. Be aware of Cullen who is account manager, he was rude. He left very bad taste in my mouth…
Grainger was the Only company in all of NAFTAland that would take care of my special component order, and that in a highly professional, cost-effective and timely manner.
My experience with Grainger was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I applied for a Net30 account with the intention of fostering good relations, despite being approved for a low credit limit. After placing an order for pick-up and receiving confirmation, I was shocked to find out that my order had been cancelled without explanation. Upon contacting customer service, I was met with unhelpful responses and ultimately told that my account would be closed. This waste of time and lack of transparency reflects poorly on Grainger's customer service.
