Shaun Galovich, regardless of his "accomplishments", is not a good defense representative at all. He was my public defender for my case of which I had so much evidence against the plaintiff, Angel Brooks at the time, to where nothing added up with the accusations against me and he still insisted I plead guilty and take their "deal". The deal from the prosecutor. Even though timelines didnt match up, even though I had text messages from Angel Brooks where she admitted to me that she will have her other child lie to authourities if they should ever ask him questions. Even though I had video recording of Angel Brooks admitting that she abused her own children multiple times leaving marks on them but not wanting to get her kids taken away so she doesnt want anyone reporting her. Even though after 7 hours between the babysitters and her getting off of work has elapsed before the accusing me of hurting the child. So much could happen in house with 3 adults and 5 children in the span of 7 hours but somehow the prosecutor saw their story valid and started the case against me. So now I have Galovich as a public defender who turns out to be a joke. He has, on many occasions, tried to manipulate me and have me agree to some things he was saying throughout out meetings whether it was on the phone or in person. He always gave me "half truths" about certain things as far as consequneces if pleading guilty to my case. He changes what he might have told you before and says he never said things like that or try to make it sound good so he rewords things. He is what you would expect from a public defender who gets funded the same way the prosecutor and court staff does. If you ask me......they"re all on the same team. Pathetic lawfirm. At least he is.
