Attorney Thomas was downright amazing, and I am so grateful he represented me in court. Right from the start, he thoroughly listened to me and the details of my case, and never made me feel rushed or like what I was saying didn't matter. He is very knowledgeable, down to earth, and not afraid to stand up in court to make sure your rights are being exercised. I was also very pleased with his staff, they were so friendly and helpful as well. My only regret is not hiring Attorney Thomas sooner, and I will gladly be referring him to anyone searching for an awesome Go-Get'Em family law attorney.

Unfortunately, I was lured to Walt Thomas under the premis that this attorney was reputable. I filed a petition for divorce against my now ex-wife, and in the process, Walt negotiated that me getting to see my kids every other weekend was a "good deal". If ANYONE ever thinks that a father can be okay with spending time with their kids every other weekend, they are GREATLY mistaken!!! Walt is not a good attorney when it comes to aggressive legal representation. He doesn't argue the necessary points, and moreover, he fails to introduce key evidence when the court needs to hear it the most. He argued that I should be required to pay $3000/mo in child support, when the guideline specifies $900. He forced me to have to give up literally everything I own, including a full retirement, in order to just be able to see my kids every other week. And, here's the kicker...the ex-wife is the one who left and cheated on me with a woman!!! I feel that Walt has caused me grave and irreparable harm to my relationship with my kids, and should not be allowed to argue contested cases. He can stick to probate court, and writing wills and POAs. If you're a father and going through a divorce, I recommend that you not hire Walt. But, the choice is yours, consult carefully.

Walter Thomas is an outstanding lawyer, that goes above and beyond. Not only him but also his employees. Gretchen is very sweet and understanding. I have gone through 3 cases with Walter.The the fact he kept great communication throughout the cases. He did what he could throughout each case, & was upfront about anything & everything from finances to any information regarding my cases. I highly recommend recommend him.

Mr. Thomas charged me several thousand for a retainer after the free consult. It was a rather simple divorce. And after about six months of no real progress I decided to hire Tom Saunders who virtually started things from the beginning. Walter refused to refund even a portion of the retainer. Be careful of what you sign. In good faith I thought he would earn his money or at least refund what he didn’t earn.

Best attorney. Returns calls fast, sits and talks with you. Cares about your well-being. Very!!!! Good in the court room! Wouldn’t recommend anyone else. He is amazing at family law.
