Recommend every one to stay away from this Law firm. No communications and updates. Took money and did nothing. Hired David Bland to do work. When I Initially meet with him and explain in details my case and asked him if that is something that he able to handle. He insured me that Law on my side. And case is piece of cake. After few months of no updates I decided to call and they told me that they couldn't get hold of anybody from opposite party( by the way charged me for conversation). It took me 10 min to get a phone call back from same people that they couldn't reach for months. After a 7 months passed I didn't hear anything from them, I schedule meeting and stopped by office to get updates and he had no clue what property we were talking about(have proof of it) and I had to explain AGAIN who I'm and why I hired him. All he told me that other party attorney was fired which was well known fact. I told him not to do anything anymore for me. Anyway, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THEM!!!. Year later I asked them to give me detailed list of what I was charged for. No surprised that dates and time were not corresponded with reality and extra charges for something that never happened. And I will report it to NC State Bar. ONCE AGAIN- if you want to save time and money- STAY AWAY!!!!!

Matthew Villmer was wonderful to work with. He took on our case as if it was his own. He was very professional , understanding, and always available to us. I would highly recommend him!

Heather and the staff at Weaver, Bennett & Bland, P.A. did an excellent job during my divorce. I was kept informed of all of the steps as they were happening either by Heather personally or one of the team members. While frustrated at times due to the circumstances, I was never frustrated with Heather or anyone at the law firm mostly due to the fact that I was never 'left in the dark'.
