Just got off the phone with Danielle, David's assistant. I asked Danielle to schedule a three minute phone call with her boss so that I could decide if he was truly qualify to work for me. I run two companies and have a raft of attorneys. I am looking for a smart/aggressive lawyer to renegotiate my favorite niece's deplorable child support situation over there in Myrtle Beach, SC. (I live and work in Los Angeles). Danielle informed me of the $250.00 consultation fee. I told Danielle that I did not want a consultation yet, that money is no issue to me but, I just needed 3 minutes of her boss' time to take his measure. Danielle kept hustling me for the $250.00 consultation fee and would not put him on the phone. I asked if he was in the office and she said yes. I asked if he could come to the phone for 2-3 minutes and she said "no". I was born at night but I wasn't born last night and I am fully aware of attorney etiquette. This is the first time in 50 years of business that I was summarily denied access to a potential attorney.
