When we found ourselves needing the assistance of an attorney last May we asked for referrals and a close friend reached out to Sawyer Smith of Wilbur Smith Law FIrm for us. I was personally called by Sawyer right away and we were fit in for a consultation first thing the next morning. This was our 3rd attorney consultation and after meeting with Sawyer and Danny Garza, we immediately knew these were the professionals we wanted handling the case for our son. I wouldn’t use Sawyer Smith if the future of your life or business depends on it. I feel like I was robbed for $5k. Asked for a cease and desist letter. They told me to write one and they would send it. I never wrote one and it was never sent. Didn’t really feel like that was my job. That’s why I hired a lawyer. Still dealing with the same problem almost 9 months down the road. If your told you should use him because he’s a good ole boy, dont let that sway you. He probaley spent a total of about 2 hours on my stuff. Maybe his 4 ex wives (says a lot about his character) need too much money and that why he is okay with ripping people off. Stay away if you don’t know him well or if your just a small guy. You will not get the help you need.
