Pay attention to the reviews. This guy got paid off by the other attorney. He took my money and didn’t do anything. Gave me a hug when I went by his office and made me feel he was on my side. On the court date, he and his lazy paralegal turned against me. They are liars and they are very good at it. They took my money and worked for the opposing lawyer. Be cautious of this guy. Believe what you see in the reviews. If I could post less than 1 star, I would.

I used Bill Godley for my divorce. It was a really difficult situation….not an easy divorce but Bill and his team were always there for me. Mr Godley went above and beyond to make sure my children and I received the best possible outcome given my unique situation. His experience shows and you need an attorney who has experience in many different situations when dealing with something as personal as a divorce. Bill, his wife Pam and his assistant Becky are like family to me. I walked away from my divorce feeling like I had good people on my side. I trust them completely and that’s something that is hard to find. Anyone going through a divorce should definitely hire Bill Godley and his team!

I wanted to wait to give my review until I have been with a different lawyer long enough to have proper comparison. Godleys staff is extremely unprofessional, and dishonest. They will rob you blind and do nothing you ask, yet still document and bill as if they had done so. They are lazy to say the least. They do not care what your personal goal is. The man literally told me at the stand to just confess to something I didnt do just to be "done with it" then had the audacity to congratulate me.. on losing tons of money and dignity, as he did not defend my case what so ever. He signed papers before even reaching the stand or asking me if I agreed to it or not. Becky will tell you one thing, and then another one of his staff members will tell you something completely different about your rights or paperwork. I could go on and on. Im glad that I went on to a new lawyer who is fixing everything Godleys law firm has made a complete mess of. If your future or life depends on it, don't place it in their hands. Lesson learned.

I want to recommend Godley law. William Godley has been my lawyer for years. He has been a blessing for me in legal things i needed took care of. I have recommended him to many that used him and they were pleased with the outcome of him representing them. You will never meet someone who will give his all and take time to listen to you and will be honest upfront of what you are looking at. He takes his time with you and goes over everything so when you go to court he has every thing ready to fight on your behalf. Thank you Mr Godley for all you have done for Me, My Family, and My Friends. Your the best and we all appreciate the endless hours and hard work you invested in all our cases.

I have never spoke with mr goodley but once. I’ve always went through there paralegals. I have gave these people so much money after I had copies and pictures of everything I printed out for them and receipts. They didn’t do a single thing to help. The only thing there good for is robbing people with their money. I have never been soo unsatisfied with a company before. Everytime I do try to go up to their office their either not their or “running errands” and then couldn’t even call me to let me know they had my paper work for court that’s just been sitting in their office. I am a single mother living pay check to pay check without any help and I was referred to this man to help me out he even had the audacity to look at me in my eyes ans say we are going to do everything in or will to help you out. And hasn’t done a thing I’m paying all this money for me to basically represent myself and they are taking my money that I don’t have. These people shouldn’t even be licensed. I’m soo disappointed they are unprofessional. I’m getting voice mails telling me that I need to go up their and pay them 350 when court was over and now telling me I owe them 15,000 and they can’t tell me why. And not to mention after court was over they took my 650 out of my trust balance without me knowing and still wanting money from me. I would not put your trust into these people at all. Law firms are supposed to help you not launder money from people. Very unprofessional I just would hate if this was too happen to someone else.
