I sadly went through a divorce and worked with WFJ. Doug was my attorney and he treated me with dignity and respect throughout the whole process. He explained things in a manner that I could understand and did not use a whole bunch of legal jargon. I also worked with Lori Guzick and she was equally helpful. Highly recommend Doug and Lori… all the staff I encountered were helpful too.
WFJ is always great to work with. Had a closing that was very rushed and they made it work with very little heads up. Even gave me some cookies after the closing as a small gift! But seriously, great firm, always recommend
This place is a joke. I went there and had a consultation in regards to will not being followed. I was told I had a good case and upon leaving was told I would be contacted about the needed retainer, the approximate total amount and signing the contract. Silence for 2 weeks. When I was finally contacted again, I was told they would not be representing me. The reason being my case is in Montgomery County and it being a far drive would cost me alot in travel time for the attorney. That would be because this law firm charges full rate for driving time. Most respectable and reputable law firms, I read, charge only 1 half for driving time. Travel time on a train or plane would be different as the attorney would still be able to work on the case whilst traveling.They went on to tell me they would refer me to an attorney in Montgomery County who could represent me as law firms do help eachother out in cases such as these when there is so much travel time. Next call I receive tells me they were unsuccessful in finding an attorney and I should contact the lawyer referral board for Montgomery County. Having already done that 2 times with no reply to either call leaves me hung out to dry so to speak. Looks like this law firm just likes stealing from prospective clients by telling them they will represent them, only to pull the rug out from under their feet. 0 stars from me.
When it comes to any type of legal matter, the team of knowledgeable attorneys at WFJ are always ready to assist. After working with James Deiter and Ben Forbes on a regular basis for over a year, I have only positive things to say. Despite being the largest firm in Schuylkill County, WFJ has made a point to maintain a friendly, personable environment where you can feel at ease knowing they will guide you through every step of the process. I highly recommend using WFJ for all of your legal matters!
Did not take the time to read over anything before we showed up for a consult. Had no clue what was going on or that he had copies of our lease agreements. Basically told us to jump ship and take the loss. Never told us over the phone there was gonna be a $250 consultation fee and never mentioned it until the end. Not saying everyone in the office is horrible at their jobs but I do not recommend Joseph Jones!
