Yesterday 7/22/24 was my first experience with Winter auction house and may be my last. After attending the preview I checked in with the auction house staff, because when signing into one of their approved auction platforms I never received a confirmation. According to the staff there should be no problem longing on to their chosen platform thru their website and if there was just call them. Believing everything was fine, because I had no problem longing on. I was able to leave bids and everything seemed fine. I won 2 out of my 4 bids and I was thrilled. Then I arrived to pay and pick up the lots I won. I was then told I did not win. According to the staff when I showed them the trans-action on my phone with the platform they chose to use I was told that my transaction was still pending, because I was never approved to bid. The auction house explained to me that it was my fault and there are more than one auction platforms I could of used. I was there purposely , before the auction to preview and confirm everything was set. If the staff listen to my concern in the first place we wouldn't be here now. I've been to numerous auction ,some that have been over seas and this is a first for me.

Hate to leave a bad review but if you enjoy having your check held for 3 weeks after payment has cleared then by all means bid with this company however I feel that it is overkill. In addition the UPS store that they recommend charged $120 for a 1 pound item when I have purchased similar items and has shipped from other UPS stores from auction for 30 to 40 dollars this place is a scam all around. Also they do Not accept credit cards

Very professional. Service is great. Expertise in a multitude of collecting areas either in-house or through their network of seasoned professionals. The most transparent auction house with whom I have dealt. They certainly value their client relationships with great communication. And it shows in the quality of their consignments as well as in their longevity.

I recently participated in this auction house. I was the winning bidder but when the lot closed I did not win. The auction house explained to me that there are more than one auction platforms. I deal with hundreds of auction houses around the world this is the first time this has happened to me. If you decide to participate in this auction house just be prepared to be disappointed their explanation was far from satisfactory

Located right next to J timothy‘s in Plainville. Gave them a couple of tries consigning things. I found Linda the owner to be not only an absolute pleasure to do business with but helped me sell things in a very timely and professional manner. She knew my belongings far better than I did. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or give her number to anyone. Full service operation. Thank Linda!
