We woke up to the sound of water spraying at 4 and found our shower handle had broken off and the water was about to go over the tub so we called Wolfe in a panic. We Just want to give a shout out to Louis in the Maintenance Department who not only answered the phone but went the extra mile to walk us through getting the water stopped till a plumber could get there, i cant say to much on the wider company but our experience with the maintenance team has been great.
I have nothing but good things to say about Wolfe & Associates. My move in was seamless, and I even received a welcoming tote bag with home essentials provided. It really came in handy during my move in. I put in a maintenance request to have the refrigerator fixed, and it was taken care of within a reasonable time frame. John was great at communicating with me, and kept me informed on the part that needed replacing. I was happy that he was able to fix the issue and now I can sleep much better. The online portal for paying rent is user friendly and very convenient to use if you can't make it to the office. Overall, I am a happy tenant and grateful to live in a beautiful complex.
Colleen was pretty rude, she told me she was not processing my application because I did not make enough income without even looking at my check stubs (I in fact do make enough). Then when I called to let her know she said she will need more check stubs (even though the two I provided was more than 3x their rent) and warned me that there was already a few other applicants that she has to go through and she will have to go with the most qualifying applicant. Her tone and demeanor sounded like they had their mind made up before they even processed my application. I will not be going forward with the application process.
I rented a property for over 3.5 years from Wolfe & Assoc. I'm sure they charged the owners a hefty price to manage their property, yet at the same time, provided lousy upkeep on the property I rented. I could write a long laundry list of how poor their service is but in short here's a few: problems with drain flies and termites never resolved, flooding, plumbing, very poor landscaping. When I moved in, it wasn't move in ready, yet when I moved out my place was thoroughly cleaned top to bottom (profesionally) but they tried to (over)charged me for it not being cleaned. I took them to court and got most of my security deposit back (I think the only reason I didn't get to full amount was because my housekeeper had problems accessing the court zoom site so she wasn't able to give her testimony). I do NOT recommend this company.
I have been renting with Wolfe and Associates for a year and they are truly hit or miss. During an inspection for a tenant who was moving out, a property manager told me to line through a legal document to adjust the date. When I refused and asked for a new copy of the document with the correct information, he looked me in the eyes and asked "why do I have to do it?" I responded with "because its your job?" to which he rolled his eyes, clenched his jaw and asked his partner to write a new document with the correct date. The receptionist at the office is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have called and asked her to transfer me to specific departments or to please keep me in the loop about issues at our property and she deliberately ignores my requests. I called to ask our maintenance requests to be sent to only tenants at the property and she informed me that was not possible. When I asked to suspend text and to only communicate via phone call she said protocol did not allow it. She said maintenance department would be in charge so I asked to speak to them and she gave a huff and said okay. She then proceeded to hang up. I attempted to call back and my calls were not being answered. Finally, my call was answered and I asked who I was speaking to and she simply stated "Wolfe and Associates". I explained that I would like to be transferred instead of being hung up on. She states she did transfer me and I simply stated that it must have been a mistake and the call dropped. She said she would be transferring me now. I proceeded to wait while I could still hear the same background noise, after a couple of seconds I said "Hello?" At that point, I heard the phone being set on the desk. For about 2 minutes, I could just hear people chatting in the office as I was not being transferred. I hung up, called again and was immediately answered by the maintenance department. That department was very kind and provided me with direct lines to departments in order to actually get to the people who will hear my concerns. Bottom line, the "customer service" from the people who interact with tenants the most is HORRIBLE. The maintenance team is very great to work with but unfortunately must go through the "customer service" team. If you are faced with this agency and another, please choose the other company. These people only respond when they feel like it. I gave them two stars simply for the maintenance department.
