Reviews

Working with woodside homes was a great experience. They kept in contact with us throughout the process. They answered any questions we had. They were thorough with the blue tape inspection before we moved in. We love our new house!
Working with Woodside Homes has been an amazing experience. They were with me every step of the way! Communication is amazing! When there has been a problem, their response is very fast. I am pleased with my experience.
Woodside was a fantastic builder to work with! I've used them twice now in the same neighborhood, I know they build some of the best homes! If I ever build again, I will be using them, quick, low cost, and easy!
I would not recommend Woodside, and will actively ensure that my next home was not built by Woodside. The good reviews you see are mostly from recent move-ins when the excitement is there and Woodside offers incentive to leave a review within a short timeframe. Be aware, the contractors are garbage and the longer you live in the house, the more you find mediocre work and materials that don’t last. I’ve spent thousands of my own money on repairs in less than five years. Trying to get help from Woodside is a joke. I thought there was a light at the end of the tunnel when I FINALLY was able to get someone to come look at some concerns I’ve had last year. It took 9 months for them to really get anything fixed, and even then it turned into me having to go back and forth with their contractors who would schedule a time and never show. I would have contractors just show up ready to do work, for example stretch my carpet out. I needed to have my entire master bedroom’s furniture removed prior and I told them that I didn’t have time within that short of notice as since they came out and initially looked at the problem, several months had passed and I had started finishing my basement, and simply didn’t have the time. Had another serious issue that they told me, months later they decided they wouldn’t fix. They gave their reason, and I did extensive research and found nothing to substantiate their claim. I asked that someone just come talk with me so I could go over the issue and they refused. Any time I would email nearly immediately when I received communication, out of respect. It would take them days or weeks to respond. I am now going to have a professional come give a second opinion on my issue that Woodside refuses to even talk to me about in person, will escalate matters if this second opinion contradicts their claim. Honestly, it’s been a hassle with Woodside since before our move-in. Was told so many lies about what exterior of neighbors homes would look like to ensure they didn’t all look the same, but they ALL look the same. Was also told we wouldn’t have small lots built behind our home. We told Woodside that we were specifically moving because we wanted space between us and neighbors. Well, Woodside built small, two story homes in our backyard, so now we have FOUR two story homes directly behind our yard which stare down at us, zero privacy. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to build your home. As I have spent the last few months finishing my basement, I have found NUMEROUS issues and I’m honestly surprised it passed inspection as I had to redo several items done by Woodside contractors to ensure I would be able to pass my own inspection. The inspector told me he was shocked to see everything done so well on a Woodside home because he normally catches a lot of things when he inspects basements being finished that were originally built by Woodside. I started going over all the things I fixed before the inspection and he said those were the typical things he dings people on. Just an awful experience with Woodside.
Well deserved five stars!!! Everyone always told me the home buying experience was a stressful and painful experience so building our first home we were expecting some headache. However, working with Woodside Homes was anything but that. The entire process was super easy, simple, and the communication and customer service was top notch! Made the entire home building process a breeze for us. Seriously -- anything we needed or any questions we had they were hand and foot service to take care of it or get it answered thanks to our sales representative, Chelise. She was absolutely amazing!! Can't say enough good things about her and the team we worked with. Throughout the entire process, we had frequent updates and input. We often had the chance to walk through the house with Nate our superintendent (who is also the man!!) and ensure the quality was what we wanted. If there was anything we didn't like, they took note and took care of it by the next time we saw it. The result we received is an absolutely stunning place we now call home! High-quality work, right on the projected schedule (despite material shortages, supply chain issues, and such) and exactly what we dreamed of. The best part is we still get follow up calls and check-ins from the Woodside team to make sure we are taken care of and if there are any other issues we come across (which are almost non-existent because they do such a good job in the first place). Absolutely would recommend Woodside Homes again and again to anyone looking to build a home!
