It is understandable that deals fall through. New York City is a difficult place to do business but you expect your legal representation to be provide you a service that you can trust protects you. From the start there were multiple warning signs. it took 4 revisions for our contracts to be correct. Simple mistakes like the incorrect attorney on the contracts had to be pointed out over and over. The process proceeded with lethargy. The apartment in question had a troubled past and therefore needed a lot of attention to detail. A major lawsuit on the building filed days before the contracts were signed went unread. We had to get a copy from a family friend and read ourselves coupled with having to reread the contracts over spending countless hours trying to get them correct. Even after the contracts were signed, we felt that our deposit was not protected and eventually the deal fell through under some murky surrounds. Thankfully we managed to get our earnest back. I personally hope to never encounter Zimmet Law Group again. Countless opportunity, financial and time has been wasted. I'm now restarting from scratch.
