This is a deceptive & predatory company that focuses on forcing involuntary customers into monthly/yearly contracts directly with ACTIVE through defaulted opt-in options on event registration pages. Their interface & backend system is poorly developed. The only reason they continue to thrive is through bribing event directors. You can thank ACTIVE for driving up costs & creating a more bland, corporate feel to your once-favorite races.
FRAUD ALERT!!! This company is a scam. You pay to do a Color Run and then they sign you up without your permission or knowledge for their "benefits" and charge you $70/year. I only just caught them and they refuse to return my money. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE COLOR RUNS!!!
They are a FRAUD money charging company. Stay away. If you see anyone associating with them , get out before identity theft.
Second time having to deal with a charge that I did not authorize. I even kept an eye out for "option" that's auto selected and I still got charged. There was already one class action lawsuit and they didn't seem to learn their lesson. Perhaps it's time for another one? Customer service was atrocious as well. I will never participate in another Active event.
Worst company ever. They should be punished
