I hired attorney Bernardo Aldape after self representing my self. Many attorneys didn’t want to take my case because of that and the short time to prep for trial. I made lots of mistakes and my exhibits were not being accepted and needed experience helped fast. He was kind since the first interaction and gave me his honest opinion on my case. Without him I would have lost my custody trial, with less than 8 days to prep he did an amazing job and was able to correct all my errors and win the case for me. It played out just as he said it would, and made the opposing counsel look like a rookie. He is really good at trial, he told me since day one many attorneys try to solve everything in mediation to not go to trial. But he said he was good at trial and enjoyed it. And it was very true. I noticed in trial you have to be a quick thinker and the legal mind to fix my mistakes. I highly recommend attorney Aldape, he won this case for me. And if you need a trial lawyer he was great for me. I’m sure he would be for you too. I wouldn’t recommend self representing, although I had other legal advice to help me self represent.
