Vincent Phillips (VP) As a Certified Tax Professional for 33 years I am pleased to write the following review for my Lawyer. Mr. Mitchell knowledge and expertise in the law and litigation in Probate Matters has put me at ease. He is very thorough in his approach and planning his (Motions, Petitions, Mediation, and Trial). I have hired other lawyers but I am very satisfied with Mr. Mitchell and his quality of professionalism. Something else in this day and time most attorneys are not willing to work with you and set up a payment plan, but Mr. Mitchell's willingness to provide me with a payment plan, and the benefit of his portable practice saved me time and money. Meeting clients at their home and/or office is a great convenience and time saver. Equally important is Mr. Mitchell's willingness to work with motivated clients virtually (emails, telephone calls, text messages), which drastically reduces the costs of in person meetings. Finally, Mr. Mitchell provided me a flat fee, without that I probably could never have afforded my legal services on an hourly basis.
I have known Mr. Mitchell professionally for over twenty-five years and have always received great reviews/feedback from the people that I have introduced him to. Periodically, I have had Mr. Mitchell review some of my own legal work, just to get his opinion. He has never failed to help me improve my own analysis, often pointing out important items and sharing other legal perspectives for me to consider that I would not otherwise be aware of. He is responsive, and quick to return phone calls and emails. Mr. Mitchell is a highly competent, professional attorney who has my high recommendations.
Mr. Mitchell is an excellent lawyer. However, he is a no-nonsense person. He works hard for his clients to get good results. He knows his worth, and wants to be promptly paid for his legal services. His focus is on litigation. If you need to go to an Administrative Hearing, Mediation, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), meet with management on the job, be interviewed by law enforcement, or go to Court, Mr. Mitchell is the lawyer for you!
Terrible. I am Going through a nasty family legal matter as the heir to a large estate. Not only was the customer service rude but very insensitive to my situation. My simple inquiries that would make me confident in choosing apex as legal counsel and paying any fee amount was met with a snobby condescending response that “apex is not a charity an does not offer Pro Bono services, Good Luck with your legal search”… As a prospective client I expect my inquiries to the lawyer I want to hire to be greeted with a certain level of professionalism. Why would anybody hire you without an idea of how Knowledgeable and competent you are in the needed areas? You lost a potential long term client with many friends. Hopefully you treat other potential clients better in the future, Good Luck with that.
I met Mr. Mitchell quite by accident. He immediately spotted there was something seriously bothering me. He invited me to lunch and I got a chance to tell my story. I did not even realize I had any recourse until after I spoke with him, and he assured me my case was winnable. Without much fanfare Mr. Mitchell crafted my case very skilfully. He was very attentive to the facts of the case and asked many questions regarding the background of the case. Winning the case was not easy, as we were up against seasoned lawyers with substantial interest in preserving their reputation and their business. His courtroom demeanor was exemplary, and drew respect from the federal judge, who complimented on his grasp of the technicalities of the law. And yet Mr. Mitchell is not combative. This probably encouraged the opposing party to settle, and we were able to reach a very satisfactory settlement. His all-round approach in litigating my case took a big burden off my back. I was made whole again.
