My parents needed Estate planning done relatively quickly. Called Berliner Cohen and the women there were stupendous! Thank you Julie, Tiffany, and Rena for your patience as we tried to understand everything and how you worked with us to get this done!
We had a wonderful experience. Stuart Spencer helped us with our estate plan and setting up a trust. He was incredibly patient, knowledgable and thorough. We felt like he took a great deal of care making sure everything was how we wanted it to be. We felt like we were in very good hands and we would absolutely recommend him.
I recently had the opportunity to work with Beau Correia of Berliner Cohen LLP in Modesto and just wanted to share how much I enjoyed the experience. He is professional, intelligent, very responsive and an excellent listener. If you are looking for someone who truly wants to help, you want to work with Mr. Correia.
I went in to delete my deceased my son off my trust, I tried to explain that I wanted his daughter added to trust in his place. Since everything is on the computer I couldn’t see a long drawn out procedure: Then I wanted to make my granddaughter beneficiary on an oil lease, when I showed them the deed, The attorney turned to his secretary and stated “is this right, she took the deed and said she would fix it.” That deed came from the Recorders office and has been fine since 1941, well in February I asked for my deed back, I not only didn’t get my deed, but whatever she did has stopped my income, when I contacted the oil company they said it looked like the deed was transferred. This mess cost me $700 plus for simply taking my son off and adding my granddaughter. The first time I went to this company I took my original trust in for some changes, well that ended up $2200 to make amendments. The first attorney that drew up the trust was $800. This firm not only price gouges but screws up what you already had in place.
Very expensive, rude and they don't call you back
