Timothy B most certainly represents a slumlord. For an attorney not to inform his client of the rights a tenant has makes me believe he has no heart or proper practice. Things like how you can't take out money from a security deposit for cleaning fees, or how last months and security must be saved in a bank account gaining interested to be paid out after moving. (all things you can read online) His client seems to not know these laws and it allowed him to do illegal actions as a landlord. Perhaps if you're a real estate planning attorney ESPECIALLY of a property with tenants still inside give your client the full run down.
