Reviews

This past year Boyamian Law handled my divorce. Having worked in the entertainment industry for several years, I never realized how people and other lawyers had been taking advantage of me until I met Ms. Boyamian. Communication with Ms. Boyamian was efficient and professional. She was polite, knowledgeable, and explained all the possibilities for me within the law in regard to my divorce. Divorce is difficult and can be extremely messy. When hiring a lawyer, the most important thing to me was honesty. Going through this process with Ms. Boyamian on my side helped reiterate to me how professionalism and an honest approach will always prevail. Her conduct in comparison to my ex-husband’s attorney was leaps and bounds more elegant and effective. She made me feel like I was on the right side. I ended up getting what she had originally promised me and now I'm happily divorced. I highly recommend seeking Boyamian Law’s services in your times of need.

AVOID at all costs. In my opinion this law firm is definitely not worth your money. I feel like they lack in the areas of communication and in getting any work actually produced. I had constant issues in all areas of the work they were doing for me and could only get Taline to actually talk to me on the phone when I had the initial consultation and when I fired her, otherwise all communication is with paralegals. There were still no filings on my behalf for an urgent custody matter after 3 months but she has charged me almost $5,000. I have worked with other lawyers in Washington state and was never treated this way. One example, after firing her she told me I would have the small balance of my retainer and all work they had completed to that point sent to me within two days but a week later I was still chasing them for it. I've taken down my previous review and I would like to say a lot more but she's threatened me with a lawsuit, so figure out what that tells you about her right there.

I hired Ms. Boyamian about 7 months ago to handle my divorce from husband. She came recommended as an advocate for women. Long story short, my case went sour from the moment I hired this attorney. She missed two court dates, did not make a good impression with the judge and now my case is even more difficult. Now I am left scrambling to find another attorney to clean up this firm's mess. Boyamian Law won't return any of my remaining money and wont give me an itemized bill to show how my retainer money was used. I feel helpless, lost and frustrated. I am in outright disappointment.

I went to Boyamian Law in hopes of getting my dog back from my soon to be Ex-wife. I had a great meeting with Taline Boyamian initially where she stated that she would get me my dog, spousal support, lawyer fees split, as well as most of my divorce finalized and a DVRO taken care of. I'm from the south and when someone looks you in the eyes, says they will get you something and shakes your hand I generally believe that they will do the job they said they would. I paid Ms. Boyamian 4,000 dollars (retainer) which was all the money I was able to borrow. I told Ms. Boyamian that I was glad she would get me lawyer fees split and alimony because otherwise, I would soon be homeless if I wasn't able to recoup those fees and get support from my wife. After about a month and a half, I received another set of bills totaling close to another 5,600 more dollars on top of the 4,000 I had already paid her. This firm was aware that I make a yearly income before taxes of just about 50,000 dollars so I don't understand how she thought I would ever be able to pay her back. She told me that she would be willing to allow me to set up a payment plan paying her 250 a month for the next 23 months but she also knows that my soon to be ex-wife and I racked up a lot of debt moving and paying for our wedding. She knows that I already spend about half my income paying back past debts and would never be able to add her 250 a month. She even told me that since I had so much debt that she suggest I file for bankruptcy but that I wouldn't be able to file bankruptcy on her lawyer fees. Needless to say, I was never informed that I had reached my retainer and she continued to bill me well over an amount that I could ever afford. I still don't have my dog, spousal support, lawyer fees split and the work she did on my divorce was so disorganized that I'm going to have to spend more time redoing it then I did helping her set it up in the first place. At this point, I'm unable to hire another lawyer because I gave Ms. Boyamian. all the money I could get so I will probably never see my dog again which was the only real reason I went to get a lawyer in the first place. Her excuse as to why I was being charged more is that she didn't initially think the case would be this hard to prosecute but the fact is I’m not a lawyer and she shouldn't have told me she could do something that she couldn't. If you want a transparent lawyer who makes sure you know what is going on then you might want to pass Ms. Boyamian up and get yourself another attorney. I thought in the beginning that I would be better off getting a lawyer but in the end I wish so badly that I had gotten a few more opinions on my case rather then trusting Boyamian law and its attorneys. :/
