Reviews

Buzbee is working with the owner of the Texans to discredit Watson. They live very close to each other and are two of the richest men in the city but claim to have never met each other hmm weird
I booked a consultation with an associate attorney at the Buzbee law firm. After the associate reviewed the details of my case, I was sent a legal agreement to sign from a gmail account. Thought it was weird but whatever, I signed it. Over the next week or so, the associate attorney and I spent exactly 14 minutes (9 on zoom and 5 on the phone) discussing the case, as well as a few short emails/texts. I was instructed to put together a packet/write-up of the timeline of the harassment events and evidence I had collected. A few days after I had sent the packet/write-up detailing the harassment that has happened to me, I was sent an invoice for $9,750 for the period from April 28-May 7. $9,750 for nine days. Upon further review, the math on the invoice didn’t add up. I was billed for two extra, unaccounted-for hours (amounting to $2,000). When I inquired about the mystery billed hours, the associate cited a “calculation error” and sent me an amended invoice for $7,250. According to the agreement, the Buzbee law firm was to transfer all information and associated work product prepared pursuant to the agreement. Upon me terminating the contract, I received nothing of the sort, only the amended invoice. I am assuming this is because there is no work product to show for the billed hours. Apart from the 14 minutes I was involved in, the billed hours were described as “conferences with other attorneys” and “reviewing the packet” that I had completed myself. I now have to pay them thousands for reading the packet I had written on my own.
I worked with Ryan Pigg on my case. He did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer after they were hurt by an 18 wheeler.
