Scot Menzies, a partner in the firm, suddenly decided to "ghost me". Not returning emails or voice mails for months! This after spending $30,000 + attempting to get a divorce through WK. I've had to go through the hassle and expense of hiring another law firm to add a single paragraph to a separation agreement due to his ineptitude (or perhaps snobbery as when my case was more interesting there wasn't this lack of communication). Can't believe he is licensed to practice law with such unethical behaviour. Highly do not recommend!

Great experience with WK LLP. They worked quickly and efficiently on my issue and had it resolved with one visit. Jessica MacDonald is an excellent mediator/arbitrator. Highly recommend.

I had Marc represent me with getting an order. I have had both kids full time for 1.5 years, they don't see their mom at all. The order is everything for you when your in my situation. My ex is hard to deal with so I knew it needed to be solid for MEP. Today half of my order was rejected. They told me to go back to court. During the process my ex had a couple different lawyers. Her 2nd lawyer was very strong, everything she wanted she got. Marc definitely lost interest in the case as we were giving in on everything just to get something signed. It was too the point that the money I would receive would not match what I've paid out. Which now is definitely the case. As Marc lost interest he didn't read my replies to his drafts. They went out with the kids names misspelled, along with the key numbers being wrong. I definitely shouldn't be the one catching these mistakes. Her lawyer dictated all the terms and I would pay for draft after draft. I asked Marc several times to have their side draw up the order so I wasn't always paying as they were just waisting my money and saying no! I was told if the order wasn't written up a right mep would reject it, they just did. So I paid a lot in legal fees and I'll be paying for everything with the kids.

WK has a warm atmosphere and everyone including their receptionist, Sig, has been very kind during my visits. Scot Menzies came highly recommended and I have nothing but praise for both him and his assistant, Lena. Scot has done an outstanding job representing my interests throughout a very contentious and difficult divorce. His knowledge and expertise made the stress of mediation and arbitration more bearable for me as I was able to trust in him completely. My life, and the lives of my children, are already better as a direct result of having had Scot as my lawyer.
