It had been years since I was in any kind of class setting, so I was expecting what I imagined it would be; an educated professor with years of experience in the field of Real Estate, comfortable setting, well displayed information, classroom participation encouraged, corporate support, extensive material, and the ability to ask as many questions as I needed to…. oh and the parking was a plus. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, I don’t regret choosing this school for a second. I loved every second of it. It was exactly what I thought it was going to be, and the instructor was informative and transparent the whole way through. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in getting their Real Estate license. It’s conveniently off the highway too, and not far from NY either.
I enrolled in the class to take the guess work out of NJ Licensing Law. I have a license in another state but I learn best in a class environment. Every one was so kind - especially Darlene and the instructor, Shane. All in all, the material was presented and taught as one would need to pass the exam. IMO, not a lot of hours were needed outside the classroom, though I would listen to audio files of terms and definitions when I was in my car. I was able to successfully pass the school's exam and scheduled and passed the NJ State exam so I got what I came for! I am very pleased with the ease in which the school lays out all "next steps". The only down side for me is that we did not receive any breaks and lunch is only thirty minutes so it was very difficult to concentrate at times.
As we all know, passing the New Jersey real estate exam is extremely difficult. But, is passing it possible? The answer is absolutely yes. This is where your real estate prep school choice comes into play. Among many other options, I chose the Terrie O’Connor real estate school in Ramsey, NJ and I’m so glad I did. Signing up was very easy and simple. The class atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. The instructor, Shane Walters was simply amazing. Her teaching methods truly worked. Trust me, she knows her stuff. She has so much knowledge that at first I even thought she wrote the NJ real estate book. Plus she’s fun! School owner, Terrie O’Connor personally took the time to meet with everyone in class to share her life story along with a few words of advice and encouragement. That was priceless!!! Folks, I walked the walk and I have the score to prove it. I passed the NJ real state exam in my very first attempt. I’m not sure that would have been possible without the knowledge and confidence I gained in class. I strongly recommend Terrie O’Connor real estate school to anyone who wishes to successfully complete the 75 hour pre-licensing course and ace the New Jersey state exam.
My experience with Terri O'Connor Real Estate School was very good. My first impression was that the class and instructor were intense and although they were, I became more comfortable as time went by. More relieved in that the instructor made it more personable and less intimidating. Her application of topics to everyday life helped tremendously in understanding scenarios and meanings. Her professional demeanor and strong knowledge made me feel at ease that I was in the right hands. These examples of everyday life scenarios became a motivation to believe that learning & understanding Real Estate and beginning a new career is not the intimidating monster I thought it to be. She was honest and caring to each student which I loved. I will gladly recommend this school to anyone pursuing a career in Real Estate.
My experience in Terrie O’Connor Real Estate School was great. Whole process from signing up to taking the school test was smooth and well organized (Thank you Darlene!). Our instructor Pat was very supportive and knowledgeable. 75 hours pass so fast. If you study and ask questions, you will learn more because Pat tries to answer all questions patiently and still have lots time for daily review test. Thank you Pat!
