My wife and I needed to plan our estate and we had no experience in this field so we turned to the Probate House for help. Sibylle, Cindy and the rest of the staff walked us through the process and set up a trust that reflected our wishes and that take care of our three children. They handled all the paperwork efficiently and made the process very easy and streamlined. It is great to have peace of mind knowing that our affairs are in order and that our assets are protected for the future. Thank you to Sibylle, Cindy, Nina and the entire Probate House team for a great job!
From the first consult with Mr. Stoller provided a lot more detail of what to expect during probate, schedule, pace, statutory and extraordinary fees than the other consults I had which I appreciated as a granular person myself. When we were working together he helped me with family dynamics, real estate closings, ancillary estates and guidance on what is proper as a Probate administrator. As is typical with probate it was a long slog but eventually we got it resolved. I appreciate all that he and his team did for me to help me start the next chapter of my life.
Sibylle Grebe assisted me with the trust administration for my parents' trust, and I was very pleased with the experience. She demonstrated professionalism and expertise, making a potentially stressful process easy to manage. Sibylle explained each step clearly, offered valuable insights, and ensured all documentation and legal requirements were handled smoothly. I highly recommend Sibylle Grebe to anyone seeking reliable trust administration services.
You would think finding a lawyer to do your trust would be easy! Not in my case. I reached out to several local lawyers, what an experience that was. So, I widened my search and found the Probate House. I was impressed by what I read about the firm and especially about Ms. Grebe. Additionally that this firm is LBGQT friendly which I found to be comforting as I had just lost the love of my life, my wife, of 42 yrs. and knew I would be comfortable when discussing my needs. I sent a message on the Probate House website and Cindy Kelso reached out to me. She arranged an appointment with Ms. Grebe for a 1 hr. free consult. I drove 39 miles one way for this consult. Ms. Grebe asked questions and was able to explain what my needs would be. She also answered all my questions I had. I hired her on the spot. Then Cindy Kelso, her paralegal, was my contact person. An Angel was truly sent my way with Cindy Kelso. She was excellent to work with. I can't thank her enough for all the time she spent with me and in answering all my questions. She helped me through this difficult process. I only had to drive 39 miles one way (78 miles round trip) 2 times. First for the free consult and then to sign the trust and have it notarized at the office. It was worth it driving the distance and spending time on the freeway. I would definitely recommend this firm as they are very knowledgeable and make you feel welcomed in there home(office).
I would look elsewhere if you need someone to handle your probate case matters with compassion and understanding. A few years back, I contacted The Probate House to see if they could help with some a la carte Guardianship services after my wife had passed away unexpectedly, leaving me as a single parent of 2 young kids. After a few email exchanges, it was clear The Probate House wasn't interested in helping me unless they received full Guardianship case representation. That's fine, no hard feelings...we're just not a good fit for each other. It was then the principal of the firm inexplicably chose to mock me in an email for asking for a la carte services (rather than full representation). This email was likely meant to be private to her staff but in hitting reply all I was cc'd on it. The exchange was wholely unprofessional and showed a total lack of compassion and empathy during a vunerable time for me; the behavior was particularly surprising because the principal later claimed in a follow-up apology she had just recently lost her own spouse. Probate matters are particularly sensitive in nature, and clients deserve to be working with genuinely supportive and understanding staff in these proceedings but I didn't receive any semblance of that here.
