Divorce is never easy. Going through a divorce during a pandemic is even more challenging, but Arelis and Tami and the rest of the team at Cooper Hughes Law made the process as smooth and manageable as possible. Their communication was fantastic, but more importantly, you could tell they only wanted the best for you and truly cared about your wellbeing. Life happened and I found myself researching Divorce Attorney and was recommended to check out Cooper Hughes. The whole team was helpful answering questions, guiding me through the County requirements and paperwork. I was not sure if I should get an attorney but I am glad I did. Ofcourse things never go as planned but having an experienced professional in my corner carried me through. They are honest, caring and bill with their clients in mind. It is very easy to feel like you have no choices, and it's hard to know if you are being taken advantage of. I worked with Arelis, and she restored my faith in this system. I first worked with another attorney at a firm that she was a part of, but chose to follow her when she and Tami started their own firm. I could not have been happier for my decision. Yes she was professional, yes she was knowledgeable, yes she was attentive...frankly, for what attorneys earn they should be all of those things...but more than anything, she was a fighter and she really had a passion for my specific situation. For her it is a career, but she really understands that for you it is your life. I'm very thankful for all her efforts. She fought for me and my daughter and dragged me through all the hardship that comes with that.

My custody saga was one of those "made for daytime TV", which seems to be the norm when both parents are fighting to be right.
