I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Michael McGonegal and his firm. I retained them late in my case. Despite the odds, Michael worked very hard to get every important detail from the beginning of the case. He seemed to be as passionate about my case as I was, in fact I know he was. His knowledge and quick work of filing Motions emailing the appropriate people etc. brought me up to speed. I felt very confident moving forward with Michael as my attorney. His skills in the Courtroom at the hearing were impressive to say the least. Michael McGonegal is SMART, SHARP, AND PROFESSIONAL. The case is ending, and Michael has withdrawn at my request, however, he continues to communicate with me until the conclusion. In working with Michael McGonegal, I found him not only to be an excellent attorney but an excellent person. He was not only my lawyer but at times was my therapist, my advocate, my mentor, and he was always there for me and continues to be to this day.

Michael came into the middle of a highly contentious ongoing case, and I had seen the inside of a courtroom on too many occasions. He was able to negotiate so well with the opposing attorney that we were saved from having to take any court action at all. We have so far been able to resolve the issue in the best interest of our daughter. I have every confidence, though, that if it is necessary to go to court again, Michael will work tirelessly to get the best possible outcome. He has been extremely fair with his pricing, and has made himself available even when out of town on vacation. I appreciate Michael’s dedication and integrity so much! Update 12/5/22- My case has been resolved without having to see the inside of a courtroom, and absolutely serves the best interest of my child. That is all thanks to Michael’s level-headed and forward-thinking negotiations with the opposing attorney, as well as his dedication to a solution. I can’t say enough about his genuine compassion in what is usually a tough and emotional situation.
