Reviews

Like most businesses, Dailey Law Offices asked that I leave a review on their Google page after my case was over, but I guess I kind of forgot about it and moved on. I, like many other people nowadays, have a lot of time on my hands and I was going to call Stephanie to ask her some questions about my will and saw a really negative review that someone left. I guess it just made me want to share my positive experience. I obviously don't know this person or their experience and can't speak to the accuracy of the review, but I can tell you about mine. I'm a woman although I am not a woman of color or an immigrant. Stephanie treated me with kindness and respect throughout the entire process. She charged me a really affordable flat rate fee and I actually referred a co-worker's daughter to her and she also charged her a really affordable flat rate fee according to the woman. My whole dissolution was over in like 50 days. I didn't have many questions, but the one time I did, I received an immediate response to my email. I hope I never have to do this again, but if I did-I would highly recommend Stephanie. We all have a lot of time on our hands right now and some people are spreading kindness while a lot of others are just being downright mean. Thanks Stephanie for getting me through my dissolution so quickly and easily.
If you are a women of color or an immigrant women never hire her. Trust me on this one. NEVER. I hired her but she made sure that my husband gets all the benefits she thought was good for him. There were items that neither I or him requested in our dissolution that she put in the contract. All of these items were for the benefit of my ex-spouse. I am glad him and I were in agreement so every time we ended sending her corrections. There is a point where I had to ask her to check fact finding laws because she put that I had to pay a certain amount for child support. Once, I pointed out these laws to her assistance, I had to pay 0 child support. So, she just adds things in there that you did not ask of her and without her explicitly telling you what she is doing. Then, she added the word CASH in the portion of medical coverage for my children. All along I told her that my spouse and I agreed that I cover the children because my health insurance is better. There was never any mention of a cash payment to my ex. Mind you this mistake was found in the fifth draft she made. This process took 7 months with the divorce not being adversarial and with her having a written list of what my ex and I want to have in our agreement. So, it is up to you to make sure you read every word of every draft she sends you to make sure she does not add fictional items that neither you or your spouse requested. And be ready to deal with the attitude and disrespect when you ask her to make changes to mistakes she/her assistance made. We came to her for a dissolution, so the divorce was not adversarial at all. My ex-spouse was equally surprised about the drafts that she would send us and how in every draft she would an item that specifically harms me and adds to his benefit. After we signed the contract, my ex asked her if she knows how he can transfer my portion of his retirement money. She said something along the lines of now that your ex-wife is not our client, we can have you as a client! Then, she asked him for his credit card and directed him to the name of the person he needs to contact. And at no point she mentioned to my husband and I that the type of retirement he has allows no transfer in the case of a divorce. This cost me $25000. I personally did not care about the money but for a lawyer that handles dissolution and divorces, you would think that when she was writing the retirement agreement portion that she would point out that my ex-spouse's plan does not allow for the type of wording that we were asking.
We used Dailey Law Offices for our step-parent adoption. This was not a typical case and Stephanie handled it with the utmost professionalism and skill. She was thorough and prepared and was in constant communication with us with updates and very responsive to our phone calls and emails. We definitely plan on retaining her for any family law matters we may encounter in the future!
Hired Dailey Law Offices to update my will and other documents. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the documents were all completed within the time promised. In all, it ended up being a little more expensive than I expected it to be, but I got what I set out for. Made the process easy and understandable.
Hired her for my dissolution several(aka 9) months ago. The entire process took much longer than I expected. My dissolution has been finalized almost 2 months and I still have not received my copy of the court documents, which I need to change my name legally. I was told she would mail them as soon as she finalized them that day, as we did a private judge in her office(and paid extra for that) I have emailed(no reply), called(no call back), and stopped by(never in the office). Since she does everything her self and has no assistant no one will help me. This has been extremely frustrating, and now I have to go pay to have the document copied at the court house and take off of work. Additionally my dissolution was pretty expensive for someone who claims to be affordable online. They only reason I gave her 2 stars was for her patience. My ex tried to make this process drag out a bit by stalling on signing, notarizing, and anything else he could. She was at least patient through that process.
