Daniel S Ross Attorney At LAW

I've worked in the legal field for over 30 years, I have worked in 4 counties - when I wanted an attorney in Schoharie County, Dan was the first person I called. I never had a problem reaching Dan or Susan. I've had him handle FC cases, wills, trusts and will retain him again in the near future. (Having worked for attorneys, I can tell you NONE of them call back when you don't pay the bills- retainers aren't forever).

I paid Dan a $4000 for a retainer and he really didn’t earn much of it. In fact he hurt me more than help me. Like some of the others leaving reviews I agree Dan wasn’t very good at returning calls. And I ended up firing him for violating my attorney client relationship and as of now he refuses to return any of my retainer. My advice is to get yourself a good family attorney before you really need them and build a relationship with them so that if and when you do need them you’ve established that relationship with them because a lot of these attorneys don’t know you and honestly don’t care about you or your situation your just another paycheck to them. Also if you need an attorney for anything in Schoharie county get yourself an attorney as far away as possible because these guys work together everyday and will sell you out before they rock the boat with their friends.

I would highly not recommend Dan Ross for a attorney after waiting several months for paperwork to be finished. And several phone calls that I have made to find out the status. I still have not heard back from him or any of his staff. I even called and asked to have the paperwork mailed back still haven't received it. After another week I just received a phone call from Dan Ross secretary she has informed me that she'd lost the paperwork all I can say is wow

The staff is very friendly and Mr Ross is detailed and proficient, very thorough. He takes time with his clients to make sure they understand and are comfortable in some hard times. He is an expert with helping the elderly as well as displaying patience and compassion. I highly recommend him and if you honest and forthright he will work with to make the payment manageable.

Do not bother. Never returns calls and never files anything he says he is going to. Find someone else because this guy is unethical and lazy and won’t help you at all.
