I read through the comments and I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion about their experience with this law office. Filing bankruptcy is one of the hardest things to do and I can almost guarantee if your experience was bad, you probably didn’t do what you was required to do because they lay it out up front. Yes it’s a lot and if you put forth the effort they will assist in every way possible. As for Mrs. Reed, I stand for her, the words this lady spoke into me I will never forget, much love to her. Let me add, I was a horrible client and they would not let me mess this already messy situation up. 20 out of 10, I highly recommend!!!!!!!

Mr. Reed is a very knowledgeable, ethical and responsible attorney. Does Princess Beauty really expect to be taken seriously when s/he calls him/herself "Princess Beauty"? BTW, the order of discharge is sent out by the court, not Mr. Reed. PB. The court doesn't GAS if you want your discharge right now. Grow up. You sound like a petulant brat.

The paralegals are horrible. I called to give them my business and got nothing but bad attitude and then told me that they will not take my case and hung up on me. I called back a couple of times but they would not pick up my calls. Everyone, please do not waist your time dealing with this people. Take your money somewhere you're going to be treated with respect.

This office is highly unprofessional and you would be better off finding another attorney to work with. After 5+ years of dealing with them, now that we are officially completed with our case I can post my thoughts without fearing what David Reed and his 'team' would do to our case. We kept our mortgage separate from our case and continued paying it ourselves. Due to an escrow mistake by our mortgage company (Mr. Cooper/Nationstar; who bought our mortgage right after we filed), it was showing that we were two months behind and were being sued by Mr. Cooper/Nationstar's attorney's for back payments (total over $2600). I provided their attorneys (and Mr. Reed, since he was my attorney after-all) proof from my bank of every single payment that I've made to them (all on time I might add). Long story short, it was eventually resolved by me hounding the mortgage company and their escrow team daily about it, and eventually led them to audit my mortgage to find their mistake. Even though the payments were eventually corrected , it ended up costing me over $1800 in additional costs including their attorney's fees AS WELL AS Mr. Reed's office's fees. Mr .Reed and his team did absolutely nothing to assist in resolving this issue, but charged me anyway. In fact, Mr. Reed himself told me to quit emailing not only his office about it, but also the mortgage company and their attorneys. He threatened to have our case discharged immediately if we didn't just let it go and eat the money. It's a racket and this office is corrupt. Basically, 'Do this and pay these BS fees, or we'll drop you as a client and get your case discharged and then you'll really be screwed.' All for an issue that I had proof all along was BS and was clearly a mistake with the mortgage company....But good luck getting anywhere with them. They refuse to answer the phone even during normal business hours. And when they do answer, you get someone who speaks little English and knows absolutely nothing about your case, and will refuse to put someone on who does. This was even pre-COVID (which is the excuse they have been using for the past several months for their lack of response). Their excuse for not being able to address clients over the phone is always that they 'manage about 1000 clients daily'. You definitely don't get what you pay for with this office. You're just a number to them. You get one meeting, and an attorney for 1 day in court. After that, you get emails in broken English, no way to talk to Mr. Reed himself or anyone familiar with your case. Just a group of 'paralegals' that answer their email address and if you're lucky, you might get a response in a couple of days that MIGHT have some of the info you requested. I think we would have been better off filing on our own than dealing with this office. If you're reading this and thinking about using Mr. Reed, you've been warned. Be ready for a giant headache and tons of hassle. Just pray that you don't have any issues that require an attorney because you'll be doing all the legwork and Mr. Reed will be charging you for his 'services' regardless.

I am currently a client with David A Reed. I have nothing but praises for Mr. Reed, Ms. Un and associates. All of my questions are answered in a timely manner. They are ready to assist you with every detail and they break down the whole process so I can understand my whole bankruptcy process. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I am blessed to have been referred here by a friend and co-worker. I find it hard to believe those negative reviews. Anyone can post things to demean and ridicule people. Could it be that creditors or a disgruntled ex employee are actually posting negative reviews that aren't true? If you are looking for a wonderful team to educate, calm and do a very good job for you during this hectic time in your life; I strongly recommend David A Reed and Associates!
