We used this office to close on both a sale and purchase, and had smooth experiences with both. Everything was clean, organized, and all documents provided were neatly arranged in order in a nice and styled folder. The facility is clean and very spacious with good parking. Follow-up calls have been met with patience and quick help, and quick return calls.
I have had several real estate closings with this office and I will continue to give them my business. I usually work with Clint. He is super helpful and always professional. I am not an expert in law but he explains things in a way I can understand. When you walk in their office you feel like you are the most important part of their day and not just another closing. Customer service and attention to detail are something that I really value.
I love this law firm! We’ve had closings with several attorneys here, specifically Clint and Seth, recently. They are a great team and are always well-prepared to make everything go smoothly. The office staff is friendly and very welcoming. Top notch firm, we will be back!
I would not recommend this law firm to anyone since they are not believers of going above and beyond on doing their research for their closing process, nor believers of taking responsibility for their mistakes. Full story below but key takeaways from my experience: -I had to pay 750$ I was not responsible for -I did not got an apology for their mistake -They explicit told me it was not their fault -They stopped replying after multiple follow ups. 95% of house closings are pretty straight forward, the other 5% have some details that need to be ironed out. Those details might cost you a few thousands. Make sure you think twice before choosing this law firm or pray you are not part of the 5%. In my case, I lost 750 dollars because the tax property owed for the house was not correct on the closing paperwork. This could of have been prevented by a 5 min call to the Property Tax Information Office (PTIO) asking them how much was the tax on the property, I know this for a fact since that is what the PTIO told me when I called thinking there was an error with the amount I owed in taxes . Instead they decided to use the tax property from the previous year to do their paperwork. Their technique seems rather lazy to me, but let's assume that is standard practice. The Law firm was aware the house changed ownership a few months back. This should of have raised a flag to them to check if property tax exemptions still applied, specially when the tax property paid on the previous year was ~670 dlls on a neighborhood where tax property is normally +2k (for reference the correct property tax came up to 2,126 dlls, they do hundreds of closing a year they know what a normal tax rate looks like). When I called the Law office and explained the situation to the secretary instead of saying a cordial apology for the mistake, even if she did not mean it, first things she says is "it was not our fault since we used the tax amount from the past year, and it is what we always use" regardless she transferred me to Clint to sort it out. Clint told me this happens from time to time, thankfully the contract allows them to go back to the seller and get whatever difference might be owed. Still no apology or acceptance on their mistake. Clint and I exchanged a few emails, mostly me asking for a update on any progress. I am still waiting on a response from Clint after 3 not responded follow up emails. This shows how little this Law firm cares about their own contracts. An involve party can breach their contracts without any consequences so it seems.
My husband and I did the closing paperwork on our first home 3 years ago with David's office and we were very satisfied. As we were refinancing this year, we had some questions we felt a lawyer would be best suited to ask. I remembered the great experience we had with this office and decided to call, after hours, knowing I would just leave a voicemail for someone to call me the next business day. Well I was pleasantly surprised when Seth answered the phone and he was helpful from the jump. He, on his own time, reviewed our closing documents and replied right away to our email, giving us confidence in our decision to refinance and telling us what questions to ask. If you have the option to choose your real estate legal team, I highly recommend David and his staff. Thanks again Seth!
