I would like to take the time to give Attorney Deborah Cook her due flowers. I have did a review recently but do not see it posted. Attorney Deborah Cook really went out her way to assist me and a family member. Her consultation was very helpful and informative. I referred my family member to her because she had done an exceptional job for my husband case several years ago. She was present before and during the case. For that reason I would urge anyone that needs assistance with family law to consider her as their lawyer.

Deborah was excellent, she really helped me go through one of the hardest moments of my life. She explained the process in detail and guided me on each and every step. She’s very professional and knowledgeable. She made me feel positive during a hard time and I’m glad I chose her. I highly recommend her because she’s a great lawyer but also a great human that understands you as a person.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received from Deborah Cook. I hired them to represent me in my family court case, but they failed to deliver on their promises. In court, they seemed unprepared and unorganized, and didn't effectively advocate for my rights. They missed key points and failed to present crucial evidence, which ultimately led to an unfavorable outcome. What's even more disturbing is that they didn't seem to care about the impact their negligence had on my family and me. They were dismissive and unresponsive when I tried to address my concerns, and didn't take responsibility for their mistakes. I would not recommend Deborah Cook to anyone going through a family court case. Their lack of expertise and carelessness can have serious consequences, and I wish I had hired a more competent lawyer from the start. I understand that you never know what the outcomes will be for a trial. However, Deborah was not prepared. She even stated she would never do a trial again because she didn't know what she was doing. She did not object to anything the other party was saying. Many things that were untrue. She did not defend me at all. She was unorganized with my income and didn’t know what it was. She was preparing her questions while we were on a recess, and did not do anything she promised she would do during trial. The other party got all they wanted and i feel like i paid for them to win. I hope this review serves as a warning to others to do their due diligence and choose a lawyer who truly cares about their clients' well-being.” *** Update she wanted me to pay $2400 retainer fee and asked for it the same day. Again, because she wasn’t prepared and did not ask in advance which is why I was unable to pay *** *** I also forgot to mention another time she was not prepared and did not turn in documents on time, the other party filed a motion for contempt and because of her mistake i paid $750 to the other attorney ***
