When hiring counsel, integrity is an essential part of the service they provide. But some lawyers are in on the hustle and show us all why there are so many jokes about lawyers. Be sure your lawyers know that THEY work for YOU! And be sure they are not telling you what you WANT to hear, but what you NEED to hear.

This review is about the staff at Dennis P Block. Details about the case: I am a small time landlord. I have never gone through an eviction or a civil suit. Tenant stopped paying rent for a few months. I was guaranteed that it would turn out favorably for me, as they had not paid rent. Experience: They will not return your emails or calls. Throughout my case I was issued a different representative from this firm. For a deposition, (held online), I was called 30 minutes before court appointment (This was only after 2 weeks of emailing and calling asking what time the deposition would be. I never got a response on something so basic until the day of). The call was a 2 minute phone call and did not prepare me for the deposition. The attorney assigned was clueless and shared that it had been years since he had last practiced. Due to being forced to disclose my assets during this deposition, the tenant filed a civil suit totaling to 1 Million. There were 2 court appearances after this. First one, DPB staff was not prepared to explain to the judge that the eviction and civil suit were two different matters. The judge ruled that the civil suit had to be settled before the eviction could take place. Second court meeting was an appeal. A different representative showed up. He was late, and had no idea what my case was about and even had the wrong property address. After admitting that he didn't know what was going on in front of the judge, we stepped outside the court room, he reviewed the case and then went back to the judge ... only for the judge to deny our appeal. After that meeting, he shared that his office had made a mistake in the RSO paperwork and that our eviction might not hold even after the civil suit. A few hours after this, he texted me asking if we would pursue the case and that he was more than willing to represent me personally, outside of DPB. Where the case is now: The case is still open and tenants (at this point, squatters) are still living at my property rent free. It has been a year. In sum: I was ignorant and naive to keep being represented by DPB. By the time I realized I needed to hire a different firm, it was too late. Pros: They are great at serving notices. But that is just about it.

Very Unprofesional and Rude I had a very unprofessional experience with this firm. After waiting for seventeen minutes, I decided to leave a call-back number. Twenty minutes later, I received a call from a female attorney who was very rude and lacked energy. After listening to my request, she hung up the call. Initially, I thought it might have been an accident and waited for a call back, but no one reached out. I dialed their number again and waited another twenty minutes to get an agent. At that point, I decided that, after wasting close to one hour trying to get hold of someone at this firm, it's not worth my time. Furthermore, what kind of service can you expect from a firm like this one? There was a total lack of courtesy or professional service. It seems like they have more work than they can handle.

Are you looking for good old fashion service, if so, than I highly recommend Dennis P. Block and Associates! I emailed Mr. Block and followed up with a phone call, and to my surprise, Mr. Block answered the call directly! You don't get that type of service anymore! Professional, humble, courteous, knowledgeable and fast! Is what I got from a 15 minute phone call with Dennis P. Block! I highly recommend Dennis P. Block & Associates! Thank you very much!

One of the worst attorneys you will ever encounter. Be advised to get hung up on the phone while you are having a conversation about your case. They won’t even answer your questions and very unprofessional and disrespectful and rude to deal with. They are very aggressive and hate there jobs. Shame on you all for conducting a firm and business like this. Everyone Deserves to be talk with respect when calling you over the phone to discuss a case that has open by this firm. Not hung up before even done with a question. The whole call was 38 seconds and I was hung up on. Shame on all you unprofessionals.
