Douglas W. Harold, Jr., Attorney At LAW

I called Mr. Harold today about foreclosure & bankruptcy. He wasn’t in the office, but he actually returned my call. I’ve tried websites for help, Including HUD & Virginia Legal. I called a help line for Lawyers who handle cases for clients with low income. I checked the internet. I never got a call back from HUD, Or several other places I called for 2 months ago. Went to Virginia Legal, they were not taking cases. I called Samuel White, the Mortgage Companies’ lawyer…wasn’t in, left a message & never got a call back. Everyone gives advice which is nice & much appreciated, however, it is SO much easier said than done. My Real Estate Agent worked very hard to resolve the situation, she actually sold the house in 6 days for full price as is with a 60 day closing. I called George Glass, Attorney & he gave me 4 different names of lawyers I could try for assistance. Two said nothing could be done, one didn’t answer. I called the last lawyer & left a message. And, he called back ! He was so nice, and went over everything about my situation, searches on the web, law books, talked to my Agent & my husband. I was on the phone with him for at least an hour. He explained what I needed to know & made sure I understood about my various options. In that hour, he taught me a lot, offering to work late to help me, and got me calmed down, as I was very upset. He told me he could help me by filing papers & taking them into Court, and it was almost 2:00 p.m. at that point. But he was more than willing to work late in order to get the proper papers filed & into Court. That Attorney was Douglas Harold, Jr. He really did help me & I wanted to write a nice review about him. And, THANK him once again for all of the true effort he made &, for his time, his clarification on many laws, his honesty & most of all his kindness. Much appreciated ! Renée Mosel Miller

Excellent. He won’t sugar coat anything for you, but he is fast and thorough, and his fees are fair. Highly recommended.
