I have known Jim Downey for many years and have always trusted him when I required great wisdom and rock solid good advice. On several matters his expertise was so extraordinary I invited him to stay at my ocean front cottage in New England-- on the house. I would go so far as to say that he has more respect in the trial courts of northern Virginia than any other lawyer I know of.
