Not happy at all. After having a policy with Progressive I tried to update my coverage but was unable to do so online as after gathering all the information it would tell me to call them. On the phone, I had to go back and forth and repeat everything 3 times with an agent for 40 minutes after which she disconnected and didn't bother to call me back. Well, I also didn't bother to call again and start the same conversation with another agent and spend another hour explaining everything 3 times. Will be looking for another company.
This is more a review of Progressive than this particular office. I went to remove a vehicle from my insurance and they told me it was more expensive. They went through all sorts of mental gymnastics to explain this but it is nonsense. Every time I had add a car to my policy my premium goes up? Now I remove one and it goes up? I will be cancelling all auto and renter insurance with Progressive and will take my business elsewhere.
Update from 1* to 2*. Reported in BBB and their corporate contact corrected the issue and refund. Be careful, I made changes online and received confirmation however their system did not make the change and had to do it again. Because the change happen later, the refund amount is lower than when initially requested. Progressive's stance is if its not recorded in our system (received confirmation email though) it didn't happen and they cannot honor the previous change. This would indicate they have a system issue and how many other customers is this affecting? This if misleading consumers and perhaps fraudulent? I setup another policy with them thinking (moving in-laws to their own policy) as I had trust in their system now to be told, its my fault for not checking? I did check...received the confirmation!
2 outstanding claims, no cosutomer service.
Been with them since 2015 and never needed them. But then, I got in an accident. Totally NOT my fault. My agent, Sam Hunt, is the BEST in the business! What a great person: professional, prompt, detailed and hard working. I will only stay with this company for as long as I can continue to work with Sam. And, if he ever leaves, I'm following HIM! ????????????????????????
