This firm is an example of why attorneys have a bad name....AVOID this law firm! Very unethical billing practices and repeatedly bill for the same services and even bill for phone calls unrelated to the litigation. They repeatedly charge for time previously billed for the same services. If you challenge their bill they will file a lawsuit against you without contacting you directly to attempt to resolve the issue. Their approach to clients is "billing first; clients second". Never use this firm.....
I had the pleasure of working with Mr Ed Collins. Mr. Collins was patient and guided me through the whole process, answering my endless questions and helping me understand the process. I appreciate all his hard work and should I ever need legal help again I will not hesitate in reaching out to Mr Collins.
You hire attorneys to do the work for you pay him a lot of money and all these people do is sit there and drag it out for years and expect you to do the work. Pay them $20,000 and it's been almost 3 years now and still and fighting to get my money.
I had the pleasure of working with Brad and Jonathan Powell, and Penny Blitz after I was involved in a motorcycle accident. In the beginning I thought I could handle the negotiations with the insurance company myself but soon realized they weren't offering what I probably deserved. After retaining Brad and his team they thoroughly reviewed my accident, interviewed the doctors, reviewed medical records, and familiarized themselves with my case. We went through several negotiations and mediation with the insurance company but ultimately went to trial. Brad, Jonathan, and Penny were all extremely professional and organized throughout the trial and ultimately secured a settlement far greater than what I anticipated. Their professionalism and experience is second to none and I would gladly refer them to anyone who found themselves in a similar situation as me.
Great people, who know what they are doing, with reasonable fees. I could write pages about all my bad experiences with attorneys over the last 40 years, so I have a good basis for comparison. Only a handful were worth their salt. Ed Collins and Brad Powell handled some festering litigation in the best way they could, to wrap it up as efficiently as possible. Don Lane did a great job with fixing my estate planning by using what we had, while adding what was needed, to keep costs in line. Unlike most attorneys, they didn't blow up the problems, and drag it out, to run up their bills. I highly recommend this firm.
