When I hired Benson Law Firm I did not know what to expect. But once I got started with them and going through the bankruptcy process, credit counseling classes, and getting educated through Attorney Benson's Book, I realized that there was a better life awaiting for me and my family. I followed ever step that I was advised to follow, and I listened to the instructions and advice. I was able to pay off my car loan, secure two credit card and have managed to key my utilization rate below 30 percent. I have also through credit counseling and debit counseling managed to pay all my bills on time, and am no longer living in debt. Thank you Benson Law Firm and the great care they took with me, I was also able to build and repair my credit score. I came to David Benson at my absolute lowest. I was hesitant to even explore what options I had because I was raised to believe seeking bankruptcy was weak. Well as time went on and optimism for my situation to magically rectify itself faded, I broke free from that notion and I’m beyond happy I did. If you are in any jam and need a kind voice to reassure you from the very first call, David is the man. I told him what I was going through and he brought a calm to the storm so to speak. I never once felt judged by him or anyone in his office as my case was an odd one, but luckily he stuck by my side and saw it through to the end with me. I want to thank everyone in his office as well. Bambi, Gaye and Melanie were all very supportive in every step of the way and went above and beyond to lend not just an ear, but their hearts and time to my situation. Stay clear of this law firm, all I got was a lot of promises that were never upheld. Communication is horrible and follow-through is even worse. They never filed my case after promising twice. First I heard it was the former secretary's fault and then they tried using Covid as an excuse. They promise things in phone calls with no writing and then twist the conversation around. When I asked for my money back because there were no services performed, they want to only refund me the filing fee. I have never heard of a company not giving a full refund when providing absolutely zero services. What a waste of my time gathering documents and information for nothing.
