I got her information from my EAP service at work. I was needing assistance with filing for divorce. She told me in a very rude condescending way that she doesn't give lessons on how to do a divorce yourself. She said she could be a mediator and would handle the filings. But she told me that it would cost $1000. When I told her I really don't have $1000 she said good luck and hung up. I understand that she has a job to do and can't work for free. And I understand that $1000 is a good price, but she could have a little more compassion and better customer service communication skill or better bedside manner with someone. To basically say screw you and hang up. She has no idea what I'm going through and she could have been a bit more professional than that. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Ms Badeaux was hired as my divorce attorney after speaking with her at the beginning of October. Since that time, any communication was done through email, most of which went unanswered. Any documents requested of me were not followed up on. If I were that important as a client who is paying for your services, I should have the expectation of being followed up with regarding relevant documents before the hearing. When I did submit the requested documents, they were never received as her personal email isn't checked and again, had to re-email them the day of the second hearing. She then grew frustrated at me for not submitting the documents and because her Zoom feed was bad. I chose to abandon her and the hearing when I realized I am not valued as a client. She chose to withdraw as my counsel as I had not fulfilled my payment obligations despite requesting to terminate her services in Oct and advising I couldn't afford her services in Jan. If you want to be valued as a client, seek other counsel.

Extremely rude. Called to ask a question and the book keeper asked if I wanted to book a consultation which I declined and I wished her a good day before ending the call. The lawyer promptly called back and was extremely rude asking why I hung up on the book keeper and tried to berate me for not holding after saying have a good day. Sounds to me someone's business is slow and a little angry I did not want to pay for a simple question.

Had a divorce mediation with her. Divorce paperwork was supposed to be filed with the court. I asked that they hold off on filing for a short time. I wanted to ask her a few questions before filing. I called and emailed several times trying to talk to Ms Badeaux. Finally I told the assistant I would pay money to schedule an appointment to speak with Ms Badeaux just so I could get this matter settled. I was told that wouldn’t be necessary, she would contact me. She never did. Note that I emailed her personally and she never responded. I ended up having to figure out how to do my divorce paperwork on my own and filed it myself. I sincerely regret ever contacting this office. She made an already extremely stressful time in my life even worse!

I have never seen a more dishonest and greedy person in my entire life. I hired Ellen for a mediation case and had a consultation with her. After two months I call her office to realize that she has not even contacted the opposing party. After numerous calls, Ellen returns my calls and seems confused. She even addresses me by a different name. At this point I tell her that I no longer needed her services and wanted my money back. Guess what, she had chewed through 2500 dollars of my retainer. When I called her office, they sent me an itemized bill that clearly looked fishy and doctored. I finally found different counsel. All the positive reviews are fake. I strongly urge people to complain against this woman to the bar council. I plan on doing it. What a scammer. STAY AWAY FROM HER LIKE THE PLAGUE
