I would like to share my experience in the EB1A application with Foster. Looking at my profile they explained to me the areas I can improve to get through the process. They helped and guided me to find points to match the requirement of EB1A. Initially, I was struggling to find three points, but in the end, they figured out seven points to match the EB1A criteria. They corrected all the reference letters word by word to make the application strong. Without having any technical knowledge in my field they studied my profile and made a strong case with a perfect cover letter which helped my approval without any RFE. I don’t know how to thank you, you are awesome.

My family and I have worked with Helene Dang and her team at Foster LLP for years. Helene is knowledgable, patient, and proactive. She has helped me secure two TN visas. I can’t recommend working with her enough!
I used Foster through my employer on H1B and Permanent Residency applications. I would give a zero-star rating if I could. First of all, they are poor at keeping the work products straight and communicating. A few years ago, I had to remind my HR my H1B needed an extension, as Foster was not being on top of it. Also during the extension process, I found my LCA had only 2 years (vs standard 3 years) after it had been posted in the public area in my company. After I informed them, they had to fix this error and redo the process - it seems the internal review process of Foster was also flawed. Recently I needed an H1B transfer as I changed position within my company. Foster didn't inform me that the process was completed until I asked them about it three months later. They promised to send the delivery tracking information of key legal documents to me, but one day I opened my garage door and surprisingly found this legal document sitting there. They have not requested a signature by receiver for the document, so if the document were delivered to a wrong address, nobody would find out. The green card process was even more frustrating, which shows Foster does not care about the individuals they are working with. Due to the home country I am from, when I joined the company, my employment based green card already had a long backlog of 4 years. I wanted to ask management to help initiate the process as soon as possible, but Foster advised them that there was still plenty of time to complete the PERM process, so there was no rush. This could show how heartless they were. In late 2020, I knew my priority date would be current soon in few months, so I reached out to them for next-step advice, but Foster kept insisting per their forecast, I could easily wait another few years for the PD to be current. The reality proved them wrong that I filed with my husband in September 2021(he had roughly the same priority date with me, and in the same employment based category). Apparently I could do better forecast than them even though I am not in the law profession. I don't even want to mention all the other things happened during this bumpy road but I am glad that because Foster was so hard to work with, I eventually filed with my husband and probably saved a lot of stress and trouble. I also discussed with my colleagues who needed or still need work visa sponsorship (1 Canadian national and 1 French national). They felt the same way with me that Foster has a tendency of not working ways out with the individuals. I won't disclose any details of their cases here. In a nutshell, try to avoid this firm if you can.
I’ve been working with attorney Alexandra Vickery for the past 7 years of my life and I can honestly say her hard work and dedication have changed my life for the best. She was exceptional, hard working, and very honest and open. I felt like she held my hand throughout the entire process. It truly was amazing working with her. I recommend her to anyone who is needing to go through the immigration process. She is very kind and will put her all into getting you where you want to be.
